  1. Hah, just came in here to check if I scored any points this week. Didn't remember predicting that. Nice one!
  2. Hard to argue with the 2 goals and 1 assist from Lukaku really. Has to be MOTM. Coleman a close second, absolutely superb.
  3. The Royal Oak is fine by me. It's a 2 min walk from Goodison. Manda pm
  4. Hi mate, I'm Portuguese myself, living in Liverpool. Everton fan since the late 90s. I'll be going to the match tonight as well so we can meet up if you'd like and go for a drink somewhere on County Road, although you were probably not expecting to meet a Portuguese at Goodison
  5. Can't wait for this one. First evening match of the season, the place will be rocking hopefully after our good start to the season. And I'll be wanting all 3 points after that match last season. If the players are as fired up as I am we'll be fine
  6. He's been in mine from the start, alongside Baines and Yaya Touré one of the few that has stayed there every week so far! Obviously after our comments they have just conceded.
  7. Vertonghen is amazing. I think Spurs will finish top 4 also.
  8. I actually want Man Utd to win this one but their team just looks so uninspiring. And who's going to make a difference from the bench? Zaha or Welbeck? Wouldn't feel too confident if I was a Man Utd fan...
  9. Welcome, also you're young, so still time to see the light and switch allegiances to Everton
  10. Not going to lie, that was very disappointing, particularly after bossing the match for long periods of the first half, and after creating enough chances to win that 9 times out of 10. It was also very obvious that Fulham were getting more and more dangerous and nothing was done about it. Not saying only Martinez was to blame, the attitude from the players was also somewhat disappointing 2nd half. That said, we've seen A LOT worse in the League Cup over the years, we had plenty of regulars missing against a strong Fulham side. Not going to say it's a mickey mouse cup etc, no. I wanted us to win it. But I would honestly be more disappointed if this was Monday night against Newcastle or an FA Cup tie.
  11. We've had enough chances to win this, come on Everton.
  12. I would try 2 up front at this stage, get Kone on.
  13. I actually like Karagounis, always thought he was a very good player. He also looks exactly like what I'd expect an ancient Greek to look like which is awesome. Not a big fan of his antics though I agree.
  14. Don't want to get carried away but am I allowed to at least dream about Deulofeu, Barkley, Mirallas and Lukaku slaughtering the shite in the derby?
  15. Our support really is amazing, makes me proud to be an Evertonian!
  16. Felt like watching Barcelona for a second, Deulofeu with a brilliant move giving it to Mess.... Naismith who did well to find the space. Get in!
  17. Voted for 3 then although I'll be content with 1 I suppose when it's officially announced.
  18. As for the vote itself, no doubt number 1 will win despite our vote currently being 0-0-4. And it won't even be close. Seems like all the people with sense are on Toffee Talk!
  19. If I was forced to vote for one of those I'd go with 3 I think despite that hideous double shield. Number 1 is kind of growing on me though I must say after seeing a few more pictures on the official website. Still, yeah, none of the above if possible.
  20. Fair enough, thought it might have been because of your previous comment about the moaning, I mean a degree of moaning should be expected after this whole process!
  21. Sarcasm? Don't really see why it's necessary. I think it's fair to be disappointed after seeing the options we've been given. The club seem to have done their best to listen to the fans, unfortunately that doesn't seem to have translated into the designs. Maybe they employ poor deisgners, I don't know, but those are average at best. I also don't see anything wrong with people "moaning" when the current badge was unveiled by the way. It's an aberration. But each to their own...
