  1. Oh no, they will be able to blame this for yet another year of failure. This won't be the year they face reality yet.
  2. Just watched the latest episode of Breaking Bad. Quite possibly the best episode of any TV show I've ever watched. Half an hour later after finishing it, I'm still in shock. If any of you haven't watched Breaking Bad yet, do so. The first season is a bit slow so bear with it, it's worth it. Hell, it would be worth it for last night's episode alone.
  3. Probably trying to compete with Raul Meireles, but Meireles is still the top hipster.
  4. There seem to be plently of people saying Naismith was good? Well if you compare it to his last season's performances then maybe. I guess he was decent in the second half keeping Chelsea busy and he did win some headers (bound to when all of Howard's kicks were aimed at him), but he lost possession half of the fucking time and wasted some good moves. And I'm not even that critical towards him half of the time.
  5. Barry was brilliant. I can't remember him doing a single thing wrong the whole match. Was expecting him to be good but fucking hell! Naismith did score the winner, but I was very disappointed with his overall performance, particularly after an impressive pre-season. Still not as bad as Ossie though.
  6. Looks like Stoke will challenge for a CL spot this season then since they're 5th after 3 games.
  7. I will downvote you one day too when you're least expecting it :shaking fist:
  8. Yeah much happier than I was 45 minutes ago! Still need Russia to slip up however, can't see it happening. At least we're used to the playoffs I suppose...
  9. Probably thinking about offering us a couple of million for him in January!
  10. Ronaldo, pretty much on his own. We're fucked if he gets injured.
  11. Clearly offside but Portugal can have no complaints, yet another shocking performance from a team with no attitude whatsoever. At least there seems to be plenty of talent again in the youth sides, can't wait for some of the prima donnas to retire.
  12. When I remember I look out for Hearts actually, thanks to a very successful game in Championship Manager (maybe 01-02 ?) back when Scott Severin was a very promising youngster. Pressley was a rock in defence and Stephane Adam was our Zidane.
  13. Was just about to post that I've been reading some City forums and most of their fans seem to rate him very highly. Many are unhappy that they've let him go. A bit more excited after reading all that and after your post Visiting Citizen as you'll know him much better than we do. He may be exactly what we need in front of Distin and Jags.
  14. Jonah S from London: Looks like all of United's negotiators this window were imposters.
  15. Except last January But yes that's generally how it goes!
  16. It was reported earlier in several places that McCarthy coming in wasn't dependent on us selling Fellaini. But of course that is probably nothing more than wishful thinking in reality.
  17. It will probably be Barry, McCarthy and Lukaku in, Fellaini out, which is still acceptable. Would prefer it if we could sign Fernando rather than McCarthy of course.
  18. If Ozil had signed for Arsenal earlier we might have tried Arteta. Maybe in January...
  19. Barry and Lukaku in, Fellaini staying would please me.
