Am I the only one who thinks he resembles "King" Kenny then?

Stoke would be proud of that.

    Moyes....

On Luis Suarez celebration: "I thought it was great, I would probably have done the same, but he is going to have to dive in front of a lot of managers now. He was a very lucky man to stay on the park because of his tackle. Phil Neville went down too easily so I have had a word with him about it."

A manager to be proud of.

You just wonder how Suarez thinks one pretend dive will take attention away from the endless real ones.

Jags for me. Distin and Howard were good as well. Thought Mirallas had some good moments up front too.

Exactly!!! The shite have more resources, trophies and a hell of a lot more worldwide fans but they're in our shadow when it comes to heart, passion, loyalty and current league position!!!

Fellaini and Jelavic both look like they have strong personalities, but as long as they are passionate for the right reasons I'm happy.

I agree it could have been a lot worse. We should be beating Leeds and Southampton even without Jelavic.

He'll get some rest and then have a couple of weeks to score a few goals and practice for his hat trick against the RS

Well on paper if he's going to miss a few games, swans, Leeds and Southampton are not far off the teams I'd choose for him to miss

I can see where you're coming from, but after things went against us (Newcastle's equaliser, first disallowed goal), we still managed to score another perfectly good goal that was wrongly disallowed and another goal that should have been the winner. So I can't really agree that they didn't crank up the intensity or lacked the desire. Sure, they weren't as dominant as in the first half, sure defensively everyone was shaking like a leaf. We didn't sink back into our shells though, we were good enough to win that match 9 times out of 10.

If we're talking both teams the lino had a blinder. Literally.

Can't be too harsh on the team, sure, a couple of defensive errors that Newcastle took advantage of, but plenty of missed chances and robbed by the ref. Excellent games from Pienaar, Baines, Fellaini, Mirallas. There will always be a couple of unlucky days like this one. As long as we don't see a repeat of the West Brom match soon I won't complain much.

Disappointed with Moyes though, Pardew changed his team at half time and it was obvious Moyes had no answer.
