  1. I just hope it's as stress-free as the last two home games against Sunderland. 7-1 two years ago and a 3-0 stroll last season on the back of two Arteta stunners...plus Gosling's first . Early-ish goal and we should be comfortable I think. I'll go 4-1.
  2. There's the problem! We've bought a rugby league player by mistake .
  3. Extended their loans... http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/duo-extend-loans-until-may.html
  4. I'll be here or close by .

Course it is . It's a good subject Bill because it's impossible to Google even if you wanted to.
  6. He's appealed against a three game ban for this....meaning he can play against City tonight. Not got a leg to stand on....be interesting to see if the FA add another game to his ban for a "frivolous" appeal. They certainly should.

I knew far fewer than that . However....filling in a blank...No7 in part two is Yamaha . And I recognise the John Bull from somewhere....just can't place it.
  8. Not a "hater," pretty much agree with that. Can be a very good player for us and I hope he is . But at the moment he's kak for 85/87 minutes a game. Not good enough. (And I'm pretty sure I never slagged Fellaini off either )
  9. Sure they talk about rumours the same as we do. Got a feeling he might have heard about it somewhere else if Louis hadn't said anything...I know for a fact for example (from my acupuncturist's nephew's fiancée's third cousin once removed on her adoptive step-father's side), that Steven reads TT regularly so we really should be having a go at Mark for letting the cat out of the bag by posting the Times link in the first place !
  10. Hehe....great minds (one a little faster than the other ).
  11. Was wrong....they held on for a point. Molineux is a tough place to go for teams guaranteed a top four finish. Well done Liverpool....back on track .
  12. Lucky he played eleven minutes in the Europa for Valencia....would hate to have had to play against him .
  13. I've been to Nantes ! Didn't see any Everton flags <_< . It was 1972 though . Welcome anyway (get that flag up!).

  16. Shame there's no "banging head against a brick wall" smiley .
  17. He got votes for the same reason the OS felt it appropriate to devote an article to his contribution... http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/arteta-s-dream-return.html Semantics maybe but even if he didn't make the biggest contribution to Everton during the match, it's very easy to argue that the most significant contribution to Everton's season that happened during the match was his fifteen minutes. Agree with you on things like the Vaughan one and (as I've said before) where votes are obviously wrong I disregard them .
  18. You've left? Safe to stay there now then Wooney .
  19. Quality answer....feel exactly the same (and I'm about 80 days off fifty ).
  20. You're seeing it as a negative ? If it's done properly it would be better than any new stadium for me .
  21. No idea if he's any good (suspect he might be ) but it gives us another team to follow in the World Cup . End of Nash (at least he fulfilled his dream and played for us, even if it was only once) and probably one of Turner and Ruddy. I'd like to see Ruddy stay personally.
  22. Decent call imo. He may not have been the best over the ninety but he was arguably the most significant player on the pitch for us. In the absence of any other standout performance I think it's a valid vote .
