  1. yeah i was jazzed when it went down. moyes knows how to scout a CB.
  2. Garbutt is injured as well. Fuck me half the team is injured.
  3. DAMN. i'm guessing the new year is the earliest we'd see him. time for oviedo baby and galloway to step up.
  4. Alright! Maybe RM will be cheeky and play both Stones and Holgate as our CB's
  5. where is the creative playmaker? we could bring in messi but if we don't have anyone to pass to him he's worthless.
  6. i've been banging on about nolito since we were first linked and played them in preseason. what a player he is, assists and goals and pace. whatever he's asking he's worth it.
  7. never knew pardew hated us, i'll have to look that up. bilic may be unproven but he's got some nice signings and i fully expect them to finish above us unless we get this fabled 10. laudrup was a gamble as well, but he didn't get a team relegated, so i would consider him more talented than RM.
  8. i've said it before, i don't like his personality but his teams play good football and he is a good talent evaluator from the scouting side. It's a step up for all of them maybe barring Pardew. No forcing, if RM was fired Bilic would have been considered and Laudrup was half considered when RM got hired. to all 3 or just Pardew?
  9. would have been easier in the summer, but i'd have voted for bilic, laudrup, pardew before he went to palace.
  10. yeah that guy is awful. oviedo baby and galloway anyday over him.
  11. i'll never forget that match, it was beautiful. day after my son was born watching the match in the hospital with him as a one day old, i'll cherish that and the win forever.
  12. between us and barnsley? or between bristol? with barnsley i think it's a win win for both teams. cheap price for us for a potential player, and barnsley is banking on the sell on fee if he does do well.
  13. spot on. the only thing he's missing is that he has to win enough in the meantime to keep his job, which is something he's not doing well.
  14. Would certainly stop all the Bitching and moaning from me!!
  15. Lol nope. It was reported 1m, Barnsley said more, likely 1.5 or 2m max (stones was 3m). So with that even at 2m were at 6.5m for the window, I think that was spent on one player for bristol
  16. http://www.espnfc.us/story/2561163/manchester-united-considering-john-stones-swoop-sources United supposed interest now. 30m + evans
  17. LOL. it happened with Liverpool, (other than world class manager) no reason to think it couldn't happen to us.
  18. LOL. damn you newty it's all your fault we suck! the manager and half injured team are fine, but if only you didn't lift so many weights we would be winning :shaking fist:
  19. Yes we can go further under a new owner. I would expect the new board to invest money to build a new stadium or renovate Goodison to make it modern (no obstructed views and more suites, possibly more seats). I would expect them to get bigger and better sponsers in regards to anything that can have a sponsor slapped on it. I would expect them to elminate the debt we have in their tenure. I would expect them to hire World Class managers and players to win trophies and compete in Champions League. FFP has been relaxed, it's a non-issue.
  20. bring him in, stones will be out soon anyways, and galloway and browning will need a back up.
  21. http://www.espnfc.us/blog/the-toe-poke/65/post/2560172/english-premier-league-managers-in-panini-stickers pardew looks like he hasn't aged, pelligrini looks the same as well.
  22. yeah i agree. if we played direct and by that i don't mean hoofball, i mean fast paced movement from front to back with an emphasis on getting it into the box and taking a shot regardless of amount of possesion. plus if we had someone that cared about defense and set pieces i'm sure that's at least 9 points added right there.
