  1. And for most of that they had a certain Joe Hart in goal for them! We are well overdue our first win and I fancy us to take this. To paraphrase an often heard cry from the stands........................ come on Blues........... these are shite!
  2. Nor I, but I would have an even bigger grudge towards the board/club management for not giving him a better deal and getting a new contract signed.............
  3. I can't see this happening tbh, just bs rumours with nothing to substantiate them.

    Fulham (Away)

Oh how frustrating was that again, bags of possession with no end product and little to fear from the opposition who were generally equally short of any real threat in / around the box. FINALLY, Moyes has given Coleman a go in our troublesome right midfield and it had us looking more balanced and at least meant we could threaten to do something from either flank. Hopefully he will keep him there at least until January if not permanently if he grows into the role. Marks assessment of the game is absolutely spot on so I have nothing more to add.
  5. Something is badly wrong Mark, it's not all down to playing players out of position, or individuals not performing at the levels we know they are capable of.

    Fulham (Away)

Another poor performance and loss anyone? The omens are definitely against us given recent form and only one win here since '66!
  7. Hard to choose to be honest, gone for Coleman in the end as our most threatening moves and better chances resulted from his efforts.

    Brentford (Away)

I had the misfortune of being there last night and I am truly pissed off. The formation was bollocks (again) and at times they looked liked 11 players plucked from a park and playing together for the first time. Ossie wide right, Pip at dm and Felli behind Yak and only one up top against (allegedly) inferior opposition didn't fill me with confidence but against a league one side we should still have been comfortable. In fairness we (rightly so) dominated at the beginning and could quite easily have been 3 or 4 up in the first half hour with a it more fortune in front of goal but it wasn't to be. From then on it just went downhill, our passing started getting very ragged, and the players seemed to operating on different wavelengths (Bily might even have been on a different planet!). The introduction of Peanuts and Arteta did improve things to an extent, but Brentford were really up for it by now and were fighting for every ball, closing players down and making themselves available which was the complete opposite to our lot. Again in fairness their keeper had an inspired game and I doubt he will perform like that again this season, and the few times he failed to stop/collect the ball they had defenders in the right place. Mucha, didn't have a huge amount to do and couldn't really be faulted for their goal, kept us in it with the penalty save. Coleman, Good game going forward but got caught out of position a few times and a silly penalty given away, not a great defensive display. Jags, reasonable game but guilty (again) of some wayward passes from defence Dustbin, piss poor (almost non existent) challenge for their equalizer, often lost his player on their crosses. Baines, along with Coleman our only other real threat going forward, more so when he got Peanuts in front of him. Madeye Guaye, a bright start but faded as time wore on. Ossie, some good bits, a lot of huff and puff, and did at least have a go at goal when given the opportunity. Pip, fairly solid but nothing outstanding some rash and mistimed tackles lost their forwards on occasion Felli, got stuck in sometimes but his flick ons mostly went anywhere but near the yak. Bily, as stated before seemed on a different planet on the few times he wasn't anonymous. Yak, a better game but still lacks a bit of sharpness gave their cb's a hard time, can only think he was taken off for tiredness. DM,s decision to sub him roundly booed. Pienaar, at least we started looking threatening again when he came on. Arteta, gave the ball away a few times and his free kicks and corners were down to his usual standard. Beckford, can't win aerial balls to save his life but at least forced defenders to hurriedly deal with the inevitable hoofballs. A final mention to the Brentford fans, at the conclusion of the shootout there was a pitch invasion, but not so much to celebrate a (for them) famous victory but to confront the Everton fans and with more than one missile thrown into our end - wankers
  9. Ross Barkley, he looked good warming up down the touchline............
  10. Mark, you have summed up the feelings of the majority of Everton fans I know there, it,s so frustrating........... I even had a West Ham fan pointing out the same things to me last night, (whilst out trying to obliterate all memory of this latest abysmal showing..........) and the bloke in question is a complete knob, now if he can see it, why the fuck can't Moyes/Round/coaching staff/the board??????????????
  11. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves after that, no skill, no passion, no fucking clue, can't even do the simple things right, they can all just fuck off.........
  12. If we could string 3 passes together instead of giving it away cheaply it might help............
  13. Why take Hibbo off though??
  14. I have never been a "Moyes basher" but by fuck I am pissed off with his line-up for this game! He needs to take either Distin or Heitinga off, drop Felli to def mid, bring Coleman on to the right and then either stick Ossie alongside Arteta, or sub him or Beckford with the Yak. As pointed out above though, it won't fucking happen.......................
  15. No NEED doesn't mean they won't though Mike, but I would hazard a guess that the sales on this one might just catch the club/lcs by surprise! Pre-order will probably be the only way to guarantee delivery pre christmas (and yes, I will use the link ^up there^)
  16. I think it's brilliant in it's simplicity, and in keeping with the "out of the ordinary" that started with last years black/pink, it's good to be different from all the rest.......
  17. ^^^^^^^^ THAT is still guaranteed to rile me up!! Nearly came to blows with a couple of plassy redshites (You know the type, wouldn't know Anfield if they stubbed their big toes on it) over that one............
  18. I understand we had one of those with Gosling so it means nothing in reality. That said I don't believe the FA would go against it even if the rumours that Capello is interested. I also personally don't believe in the "Johnny Foreigner" adopting another country scenario anyway, as rife as it is in other sports.
  19. End of this season according to this......... http://www.uksponsorship.com/jan08everton.htm
  20. Just came back on, after Rodders scored Not sure what happened there because archive stuff was playing fine, just not the live feed??
  21. That may only work for you if you live outside of the UK..... My EvertonTV commentary has gone down, anyone else having this problem?
  22. I and others around me were all saying the same but before Moyes even started subbing players!
  23. I think you will find that during the priority period you will only be able to buy 1, once they go on general sale you may be able to buy more but you will still only get the one set of credits against your membership.
  24. I wonder how many of us know much about the reserve team? It's difficult to know how players are looking without the few sketchy reports that we sometimes get. Last night they kicked off their season with a match away at Chelsea, a 1-1 draw, but the difference in reporting on the two official websites couldn't be more different!!
