Worse imo, but that shouldn't lead to any complacency, the French will play better against us if given the chance. Having said that, IF the England team can sort out the stupid penalties and get stuck in to the French early then they (France) are likely to fall apart.

Okay, from the final there were 4 Hurst, Peters, Moore (All from West Ham) and Cohen (Fulham) Not used in the final were Bonetti (Chelsea) and Greaves (Spurs). I can't think of any more but I am sure there must be.

CRAP!!! But as scouse said, how many times in the past few seasons have we been by far the best team and got mugged? There has to be some rapid improvement in the coming weeks though otherwise it could be a very long season for us.

Ruined the last day of my honeymoon hotel with loads of "them from over the park" and the head of entertainment was a piss taking manc! Still I suppose I should have known better with it being the first game (for us) of the season and being optimistic as usual....
