He never let me, and if he did he would have been told to do one
I don’t understand all this bitterness towards Barkley when he left he was having problems in the city so it was good for him to get away you can’t blame a young player for trying to improve himself

Or maybe we did try to get him and he couldn't face coming back?
He let people know that he wanted to come back.

Confidence doesn't explain Barkleys achillies heel though which is his footballing brain. Apparently linked with United today
I’m not surprised he is linked to United he will be linked to a lot of teams he has been Luton’s best player we missed the boat in the summer I blame our recruitment team we are so poor.
and that stretches right through the club at every level the last 6 years has been criminal -
I’ve said it time and time again Godfrey for a centre back can’t head a ball I don’t know why he was central Branthwaite tarky and Onana should all have been around Dunk.

My philosophy when your opponents go down to 10 men is to stick another striker on, you don’t lose any advantage in defence or midfield yet you force them to keep their defenders to stay put. What we did was to stick another defender on which nullified our advantage of an extra man and allowed them to get more men forward, so you couldn’t tell they were the team down to 10, if anything we looked like the team who down to 10 men.
A poor decision by Dyche and his coaching staff has cost us 2 points, of that imo there can be doubt.Playing the long ball all game is awful, when they went to 10 men we should have passed around them but no Pickford just carried on hoofing the ball long.
we lost possession so many times going long.

I've never voted for either but would happily vote labour if it helped keep a tory out.
I’ve never ever voted anything but Labour but will not vote for the current leader I think he’s fake.

777 should have been fucked off ages ago and moshiri forced to find a buyer with better credentials who may not offer him full price.
I think the premier league are deliberately dragging this out 777 should have been dismissed months ago.
I’m worried they will accept 777 just to plunge us into more Debt in the near future if there is any doubt they should be sent packing. -

On the Wirral the last 3 years now, from home.
It was very stressful, a major contribution that led me to burnout and put me in hospital which had other repercussions. A decade of hard work undone because people believed Boris fucking Johnson had their best interests at heart...
So sorry for the position you are in.
there’s a guy sits behind me he goes to Europe teaching at the moment though I think he works in wales but he has worked in Europe in the last year. -

I'll give you the very short version...
I was living in Switzerland, which isn't part of the EU but had a special deal to prioritise EU citizens above non-EU citizens looking for work. For 15 years I lived and travelled around Europe for work, from when I was 23 until 37. So my entire grown up life had been established and defined by living abroad.
Once Brexit passed, a vote I was refused to take part in along with millions of other expats, that pool of opportunity disappeared and when my final contract expired, the only place I could find work was back in the UK. So I uprooted my wife and daughter (who had only know Europe), brought them back only for the border force dickheads to try to deport my wife which has cost me around £10k so far and will cost me at least another £5k in the next several years - all that despite her being married to a British national, with a British national child and married in Britain on a British marriage licence 10 years prior (at that point). I was only 2 years of being eligible for a Swiss passport at the time too.
All based on lies which people for some reason gobbled up. That's the very short version. I went from living and working in a much more peaceful and progressive environment back to the Wirral which seems to have regressed back to the 80s. Based on lies and being refused a vote along with roughly 3m other expats.
Sounds very stressful are you working in the uk now ?

This shit is exactly why I keep going on about it. My life was stolen because of people like this who had no idea what they were voting for but needed someone to blame. I will never accept it.
Matt I’m keen to know how your life was stolen honestly

Fair points, and I hope you are right when you say he’s not as popular over there as the press portray. My concern is as a citizen of the world, America is still the most powerful country in the world, and whether some Americans like it or not the free world relies on the USA and it’s fight for freedom, democracy and unity of like minded countries, we need you to find a leader who can embrace what America means to the free world, and shows the values of someone who understands how to use the power they’ve been given in the right way. I get you don’t have much faith in Biden and it’s disappointing that there isn’t a better option to go up against Trump, but Trump isn’t the answer for lack lustre Biden.
I’m not into American politics but if Trump had won the last election America wouldn’t be in the mess it’s in.

Maupay looked lost because he couldn't adapt to the role asked of him, mostly because his skillset doesn't fit our new playstyle. He's a much better player than Beto in my opinion but when doing a job hes not best for he looked shit. Put it this way, I would've had him alongside DCL before Beto because he's more of a Naismith type player (though not a patch on him), he'd chase knock ons and be a snide if he wasn't also expected to lead the line.
True

It will be a shame if we don't go for him in the summer.

Right. We’ve got a striker who does everything he can not to score and a centre back who can’t stop scoring (albeit the wrong end)
In fairness though, Beto seems to get a good chance every time he is on the pitch which is positive. Hopefully with more minutes he becomes a bit sharper…
If I remember right Maupay got chances and he was awful for us I don't see Beto cutting the mustard here he s a terrible footballer.

At the game today a friend of Jarrod told me Man United put a bid in of 25m last week haha as if we would accept that.

What is it with Postecoglu's lack of eye contact in interviews? Is he that insecure?
That’s odd my wife has a relative who does exactly the same he talks to you but looks to the side of you or looks down.

It's about the amount I thought it'd go up for me this season - £50.
I know they're doing it bit by bit so it's not a huge jump once we move but it hurts my soul to keep paying more to watch shite .
I'm expecting my next season ticket to be £800 after this.
I don’t think it will rise that much

One of our better 21s I hope he steers clear of injury he has had fair share.

He's shit though and it was nothing to do with the way we used him. Nothing at all.
Problem is if we get a transfer ban we will see him in our team next year.

He is, he's a battering ram which is ideal for against a tiring defence. I don't want him anywhere near a starting 11 if we can help it though, and definitely not in a 2 if he has to play.
I’d rather we got rid if possible but I don’t see that happening we will probably be stuck with him till his contract expires
-
We keep making the same mistakes do we actually have scouts who do due diligence whoever scouted him I hope he has now left the club
but Thelwell must also take some of the blame
I said from day 1 he was useless and that’s being kind

our biggest asset in branthwaite by a country mile. It's not even close, the weird fact is that Onana seems to be valued at a similar cost.
Onana could be sold and replaced for less, Barkley and Garner were the best midfielders on the pitch yesterday. I'd have Barkley back in a heartbeat and said this a while ago.
Branthwaite would have be 80m upwards for us to sell him

It’s not about personal vendettas it’s about trying to improve Everton and on a free he 100% improves us.
it was Chelsea who decided not to sign him not Barkley he didn’t have a choice in the matter.
he is better than all our midfielder’s.
