Indeed. Koulibaly almost certainly is looking for CL football if he moves. Zielinski is also a very expensive player but would fit the team well.
-
Koulibaly would be a ridiculous signing and I very much doubt we could get him. There aren't many clubs that wouldn't take him so there are plenty of CL clubs for him to choose.
-
I don't think Vela would score over 30 goals in Ligue 1.

It's very easy to test your own values: if that player was linked to Everton at that price would you think it's a fair asking price? If you think Everton should never pay that much for that player then why should anyone else?

Think most of those values are optimistic. Problem is getting rid of their wages. Morgan is making 100kpw, who will pay 15 million plus that? Sandro we'd probably give away for free to get rid of his wages. Keane sounds about right but I doubt anyone would pay 20 million for a 30-year old Gylfi or 15 million for Tosun or especially 10 for Bolasie.

I'm not saying Ibra is poor or anything but it's impossible to tell his quality but the fact Carlos Vela is leading the MLS scoring chart with 34 goals tells the level of that league. Vela managed a total of three goals for Arsenal and less than one goal in three for Real Sociedad and has scored more than a goal per game this season.
-
Yeah, let's buy every fancy name with no regard for team building. That has always worked well.
Ibrahimovic requires that the team is built around him. And he has played in the MLS for years now so you can't possibly have an idea of his current level. He hasn't even played in the national team so the only thing you are comparing him against are MLS defenders many of whom wouldn't get into a Championship team.

Main problem is this sounds like another Moshiri signing rather than Brands. Moshiri should have nothing to do with player recruitment.

Gallardo seems to be staying at River.

The issue I have with Emery is why he didn't do more with Sevilla in the league? They finished 5th, 4th and then 7th in a 3 tesm league. I don't know how they did in the other cups in Spain but I dont remember them getting anywhere and he isn't going to win the Europa League with us any time soon.
He was competing in the same league with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, though. Those clubs operate in their own league.

How about you lot stop panicking? Hacks are just guessing and that Pereira thing sounds like his agent has send a message to some newspapers.
-
Why would Sky know? Moshiri called them and he picks the manager, not Brands?

Ferguson has said he doesn’t want the job permanently btw.
Yeah, he's got more sense than some of our fans thankfully.

Yeah. He’s a bit of a knob but seems to know his stuff
To me he just seems to follow the news and various forums as he doesn't really never tells anything new.

Problem is that it’s Brands who wants to persevere isn’t it. He is in the media today saying how important it is to have patience with the current set up.
It worked for him at PSV, tho.

Favre has done a good job at most of his clubs. Even really good. I think he would be a good fit. If he made Xhaka look so good Arsenal forked 30 million for him imagine what he could do with Schneiderlin.
-
Gio van Bronckhorst is also being brooded at City for something so not sure what Arteta's situation is.
-
If it's Moyes then Kenwright is still running the club. There's no other explanation.
-
Martinez's team couldn't defend to save their lives and it was not getting better, it was getting worse. And at that point the team had lost it's attacking impetus as well.

There's no comparison: Kean is not being giving the opportunity to play, whereas Silva is out there every minute or every game.
Or maybe Kean isn't showing anything at training to warrant a place in the starting lineup?

Some managers look at the PL as the place to be, they want to test themselves in the best league in the world.
So obviously a manager who was wanted by one of the biggest clubs in Europe would rather pick us?
Yeah, right.

Arsenal may be looking but the fact is average time a manager stays at a club is under two years these days. Ancelotti's contract is for 4,5 years so if he stays that long it will be way longer than the average. We will have built a new stadium by the time his contract runs out.
He is a brilliant man-manager and tactically flexible. He understands that tactics must be dictated by the players available. Hopefully his name also helps recruit better players. I'm not sure how much weight that has but maybe at least in situations where other factors are pretty even. Many world class players also credit him for improving them.
