  1. Missing so many good names that this was a bit pointless. I'd start with Ten Haag, look at Gallardo, consider Schmidt (although he would be huge risk but at least it would be entertaining). Not sure if Nagelsmann is out of our reach but he's not at a big club at the moment. And I'd check if van Bronckhorst will be the heir to the throne. If it's Arteta, then I'd go with him. At least he has managerial experience.

Oh, and stats boys seem to like Adolf Hutter.

  2. There's a good article in The Athletic about Silva. Most interesting tidbit is he'd like to play 4-3-3 but injuries have stopped him from doing that. He would want to play Delph, Gomes and Gbami in midfield and Iwobi, Richarlison and DCL or Kean up front. So no space for  Gylfi.

That article also claims that team spirit is good and players do like Silva and his methods. They don't blame him for the slump. They don't really want a new coach with yet again new ideas and style.

  3. Let's stop with the Mourinho calls. If Brands decides to pull the trigger there are other interesting choices to look at. Marcelino and Gallardo have been suggested elsewhere and would be more interesting choices. Gallardo might actually be in Brands' radar already considering he knows the South American market. Marcelino did a great job at Valencia and was basically sacked over backroom stuff.

    Houston we have a problem.

Just been reading up that his interception rate is even higher than Ganas, which means his positioning is even worse doesn’t it?

I would think it's the other way around. You need to tackle if you fit caught out in the wrong position while intercepting a pass means you were in the right place.

  5. This just sounds the typical fan stuff. We want to pick other club's players for next to nothing while our guys who have hardly played should cost tens of millions. And while we don't want any clauses when the club buys someone of course other clubs willingly add them to any deals where they buy one of our players.

Basically this is "we are special" stuff which I'd leave to that other lot across the park.
