Assuming you meant 4 3 3 I'm not convinced we have the forward players to make that work. If we had 2 players smilar to Mirallas (or Eto'o a few years ago, when he was more mobile) it might, but with the players we have I just see it getting very congested in the middle. Other thing with that system is we are basically hoping that Baines & Coleman play the whole season, which is unlikely in this day and age.

Not sure the league would go for us having 12 men though.

I just hope he picks a balanced side and stops trying to play players out of position just so he can play them. Pick in form players in their best positions. Don't play someone because of their name or reputation.

McGeady isn't crap, and now Mirallas is fit again they should both start. Having the two genuine wide players would give us much more balance. Which then leaves the spot behind Lukaku up for grabs between Barkley, Naismith or Eto'o. Personally I would start with Naismith at the moment (when fit) and use Eto'o and Barkley from the bench. I'm hoping Oviedo will push McGeady as well. Unfortunately having a decent bench seems pointless at the moment as it doesn't get used effectively anyway…

The squad has been stretched to its bare bones in recent weeks and the players that have come in have performed well. Garbutt and Browning look like they can play in the premiership. Along with Stones, McCarthy, Barkley, Mirallas & Lukaku we have an excellent young team in the making
