To be honest im hoping the Geordies or someone like that need a proven prem striker and offer around £7 million and i would bite their hand off for the Yak. Undeniabley a quality finisher but we need more than that. We need a young,hungry goal machine. Like Moyes says they cost BIG money and thats what we havent got. If we havent got europe next season i believe for once we have the squad to cope this year so moysie could generate his own dough for a striker. Everybody is expecting a smashing and if we score in the first 20 mins it could be a Hull scoreline. 4-0 Saha 2, Osman and Johnny with a screamer.

Give him a good pre season and i think he may be a very important player next year. I think his best position could be just behind the striker dropping off ala Arshavin.

I would sell Ruddy and Jutzeweitz? for £1 million ish aswell as yobo(£7 million), Yak(£7 million), Vaughan(£3 million). We should have enough to buy Landon for our one signing with our own money and that gives us £18 million to play with. I would go all out for Vagner Love who played in Russia who i believe is back in Brazil. He plays up front on his own and would be perfect for the prem. We can maybe get some good freebies like the goalie Mucha, Ledley and i would take Beckford and sell him for a profit if he is not up to it. Throw in the usual gems on loan from Davey that gives us a pant wettingly good squad.

To be fair he had a really poor start to his Blackburn career for whatever reason but i've watched him a few times now after a good run in the team and i think he looks a good finisher. Blackburn are fucking awful aswell so that doesnt help. I may be totally wrong though.

In a few papers over the weekend thst Davey could offload Yobo and two motherwell lads to help finance summer move for Ireland. Just Moysie's type young, versatile and extremely talented. Would love him here but can't see it due to his big wages he will be on at City.

Just been watching the build up for the City v Chelsea game. Looking at the Chelsea bench in my opinion we have a comparable if not better squad once everybody is fit. Just shows what you can do with a bit of time when allowed. You wouldnt have thought this woul be possible five years ago........

Whether its europe or not football is football. Eleven aside its a simple game. Thursday was horrible and yes its frustrating that were not going further in competitons but we should all be thankful Davey is in charge of us. Christ knows where we would be without him.

Unfortunately Yobo hasnt turned out to be the player i thought he would be when he first came in on loan. He plays too many long aim less balls from the back. He switches off at the back too many times for a top class centre half. If we have to sell somebody to free up some dough Yobo would be first to go for me £7-8 million would do it.

Looking at the Daily Post pictures of the squad training, Jags has got the same colour bibs on as the rest of the "supposed" first team and senderos has another colour with the normal subs. He couldn't play could he.........

I feel we have an excellent squad now and with everybody fit i think we just need another forward with pace and a wideman.Obviously we want to keep Donovan and if that means selling somebody i would sell Yobo to pay for Landon and sell The Yak who is probably nearer thirty than we think for about £9 million and go in for Vagner Love. Keep Senderos for cover and we have competion all over the park.

Lescott is a very good premiership player who i think has been found out at international level. Johhny looks to be the real deal in the premiership so far and everybody raves about Vermaelan at Arsenal who cost double. Granted his goals take the headlines but i think Johhny with a good pre-season could be frighteningly good and probably would look better at international level with his passing ability. Heitenga is a year or so younger than Lescott so i am more than happy with the outcome and how good our squad looks with the Lescott sale.
