  1. Living the dream Mike, Knightsbridge when I had my dry lining company we use to do a lot of work for a shop fitting company in the early 20s, did a major refit to Hamleys and a Monsoon store, stayed in a 4 bed apartment rented by the main contractor in Sloan square, had some great nights out. Actually it may have been in the 90s memory isn’t what it was.
  2. Borough market is worth a visit day or night some cracking bars and restaurants in the area.
  3. I think living there as someone who earns in excess of 5 million a year it becomes a very different place for the mega rich.
  4. Just the millions will do why be greedy
  5. If you gave me a million or two at 63 years of age next month, I think my goals and priorities would be well catered for, and I’m struggling to see how by taking that my financial health would be at risk, and how many good years am I realistically going to get in the future. Show me the money please
  6. I’ve read we are awaiting PL approval before we can make any sizeable purchases.
  7. Broja said to be unwilling to leave London making West Ham favourites to sign him.
  8. I’ve learned something from this post I’m pleased your not my financial adviser Steve, I fear you wouldn’t know the right time to sell
  9. I think he’s as good as anyone in both boxes, he’s very poor at 30yrds plus out being forced to run back to his own goal, for 2 reasons obvious one is his lack of pace and the other is he’s to honest or to nice, he needs to learn when to bring a player down the professional foul if you like.
  10. Mate go for it, people should have the ability to laugh at themselves a long with others laughing at them, if they haven’t it would be even funnier to read their responses, I’m sure I’ll be getting the brunt of it
  11. Okay you win I’m gonna bite, if DCL has been given a harsh ride that harsh ride wasn’t from the supporters who criticised him they only spoke about what they saw mostly on the pitch but agreed not all was to do with football, but that’s fair enough DCL talks more about other aspects of his life than he does football, so he’s made that fair game. The harsh ride has come from inside the club by the management, they started him in the region of 17 times when they new he wasn’t physically or mentally fit to perform at his best, so much so that in some games his contribution was basically an embarrassment, now that’s not my fault because I slaughtered his performance I said what I believe his performance deserved. Yes I’ve read his article do I feel sorry for him no I don’t, do I sympathise with him that he was maybe or maybe not forced into a position he was not ready for because of the failings of the team yes I do. What I want to see from him is his football doing the talking, because I’m not really interested in the rest, like I’ve said in the past I’m not a physiotherapist or a psychologist, I’m a supporter of what I believe is the greatest football team ever, and no one person or player is bigger than the club, and has a fan of the club if I believe a player is letting the team down I’m not going to be pleased, excuses aren’t going to improve Everton. All said in the best of taste and my love for all Evertonian’s, so please nobody take this as a personal attack especially Shukes and SteveO who are excellent members who I love debating with, I feel that we get each other’s banter and long may it last, as long as you remember I’m right
  12. I agree about Ross Barkley, the reason he couldn’t work it out was more down to having the IQ of a pea, Gordon seems to have the ability to digest and communicate, his team mates rave about him as a player and a person, I really think he’s got the brains and the temperament to go a long with his undoubted football ability. Next season will be hard for Everton the team I can only see us fighting at the wrong end of the table, and if Gordon stay’s he will once again be a standout player for us and will be most likely be gone by the following season.
  13. He plays without fear he’s not afraid to take people on and he doesn’t hide when it gets tough and it’s not going his way, that just makes him try harder. Other teams see that in him which is why his worth is valued so highly, they know with the right mentoring he has the ability to become world class.
  14. Doe’s that mean I shouldn’t consider lowering my standards to fit in with others, or are you saying through Heller I’ve already been thrusted
  15. I got the ball rolling, said my piece now I will let others finish it. Those who want to laugh can, those who want to disagree can, but what I have said is my opinion based on my beliefs and what I believe in is for me not up for debate, hence the non response to your points
  16. In football and life in general not a lot right now, I’ll have to lower my standards slightly and embrace mediocrity
  17. No excuses for next season now let’s see what he has to offer, I’ll be honest I have a feeling we won’t be very impressed. I would dearly love him to prove me wrong we need someone to take up the challenge and become a big player for us now we’ve lost Richarlison, after all he was brought here for that very reason so let’s see the good’s.
  18. Can we have a vote on whether you are happy he’s gone, or are there many more as he said sad he’s going. Vote happy or sad using the side bar
  19. He’s is like Trump in so many way’s, they both lie they both can’t concede defeat and they are both mentally deranged, it wouldn’t surprise me if like Trump he encourages the far right racist to storm the Parliament building he’s such a narcissistic prick. Rewind slightly he is resigning his resignation statement is being prepared, thank fuck 3 years of bollocks will soon be over.
  20. 50 resigned now, he’s soon going to run out of MPs to run ministerial posts.
  21. I’m football fan a supporter of Everton football club not a support worker for any individual who plays for the club. This is 100% a results industry with millions of followers who live for the results and who’s love and passion for their team consume their being on game days, whether right or wrong that’s me, and if any player doesn’t perform to the best of their ability then they are getting it with both barrels, and I’m not going to hold back because there not fit physically or emotionally, I’ll be honest they can do what TV programs they want, they can wear what clothes they want, they can tell the world about their problems if they want I don’t have any qualms either way, but what they can’t do for me is turn up to a game and play poorly as a fan there is no excuse I’m prepared or willing to accept for that.
  22. You beat me by seconds, I’m going to say 39 now trust me it will happen soon
  23. Not long now he will be gone soon, his excuse was he was handed a colossal mandate, he created his own colossal mandate by constantly lying, he lied about Brexit he lied about Covid he’s lied about every poor decision he’s made by blaming others. The man is a complete embarrassment and the damage he has caused to this country is immeasurable.
  24. Most sensible thing you’ve said this month mate
