  1. I think it’s more the manner in how he left. You can be honest and honourable or you can cost the club that looked after you from being kid £20 million to feather your own nest, not what you would expect from a home grown player and Everton fan.
  2. Is anyone watching Attenborough and the mammoth graveyard. Cerney wick when this was happening it was about 15-20 minutes walk for me from my old house in Latton, now I’ve moved it’s about about 30 minutes. I new there was a dig going on there I’ve walked around it so many times and saw them there, to be honest I thought they had found another Roman settlement for the first couple of months, until talking to a few of them in the local pub garden. I know it may sound geeky but I find this subject so interesting.
  3. Hospitalisation’s have exceeded 11,000 the highest since March, with so many NHS staff off with Covid and others physically and emotionally done, has Boris again thrown our nurses and doctors under the bus to save his own skin and appease his back benchers? For me it’s a yes.
  4. There’s always a chance of a reconciliation between the two of them real men should always try and bury the hatchet so maybe they’ve had a making up.
  5. There you go Steve pretty much what you said
  6. Bollocks mate, I posted after the Gordon story about how he feels about Benitez saying that’s 8-9 who have come out and praised Benitez, for then to be told the club forced them to say it so they must be liars. But obviously you know best not one of them meant what they said. So what don’t I grasp the straw man lecture on corporate businesses, this isn’t about that it’s about whether you believe those players have lied about Benitez because they were told to or whether they were truthful in what they said.
  7. Exactly Matt they don’t get players to lie, but 8-9 players have come out to express their happy working with Benitez, but there all lying because they’ve been told what to say, well I believe Richarlison, Doucoure, Allan, Townsend, Gray, Gordon, Godfrey and Rondon are happy playing for Benitez and haven’t been directed by the club to say so, you mention big businesses do you believe Everton as a big business would keep a manager who never had the backing of the players, yet would trot those players out to lie and bring their integrity and standards into question, they wouldn’t do that don’t underestimate play power these multi multi millionaires won’t be dictated to In that way.
  8. If you read articles from journalists who are closer to what’s happening Digne told his agent get me away from here now, players rarely put in transfer requests anymore because the money they would lose is huge.
  9. So answer the question why haven’t they trotted Digne out to publicly say he has no issues with Benitez, to enhance the image of the business as a happy ship.
  10. I fucking shake my head in disbelief how ridiculous that you use the publicity arm of a company and the promotion of the company by it’s CEO as a comparison to whether a player would be forced to say he liked his manager or his style if he didn’t, honestly mate you need to take a few deep breath’s and get some perspective back. Players will be told no negativity or aspersions against the club but they won’t be told you have to praise the manager when they don’t, in fact if they thought there was any ill feelings between a player and a manager they wouldn’t allow the player to take part in any official interview, as why we haven’t officially heard from Digne, if we followed your beliefs he would be thrust in front of the media and told to say he thinks Benitez is a great manager and tactically knowledgeable who I enjoy playing for, so why aren’t we seeing this?
  11. not going to argue with that your passion for this shouldn’t be messed with your scary
  12. It would probably suit me I have a very varied taste in music, the last few years my truck has been tuned into smooth. And I find it takes me back in time to the days of my youth, it might be dock of the bay and I’m suddenly transported back to when I first remember that record, the people I was hanging out with what we were doing the conversations we had, music is such a powerful medium.
  13. So the marketing team required Richarlison to blow smoke up Ancelotti’s arse last week then I suppose, that was a wonderful marketing ploy get a player to over praise a manager who not long ago shit on the club, do me a favour Steve a player will not publicly condemn a current manager even if he despises that manager and wants to leave, not because the club have stopped him the club have no control on his social media sites, but because the player knows that would put other teams and managers off so would only potentially harm his own career. And I agree that clubs will have some form of policy on interviews such as when and who with, but they won’t be forcing players to say that the manager is wonderful if they believe he isn’t and don’t agree with his methods.
  14. I never had you down as a conspiracy theorist, Steve players aren’t forced to lie about their managers.
  15. No if they didn’t rate him I would expect them to keep their integrity and say nothing instead of lying.
  16. Barkley has split TT imagine the damage it could cause if he split the Goodison faithful, would we lose the 12th man that comes together and often pushes the team over the line. We thought with Benitez it would be a toxic environment and in fairness it wasn’t as bad as we anticipated, but this could be a level of hatred I don’t think we have ever witnessed before, when you steal from your own you’ve well and truly burnt your bridges, his reception the other day will have told him he’s not welcome he’s no longer one of us not because he left but because of the manner in which he did it. I’ve heard the excuses he hasn’t got a brain he can’t think for himself, if you were a true Evertonian you don’t need a brain to tell you what you are doing is wrong you’re heart should be telling you your out of order. Everything about him coming back here is so fucking wrong.
  17. A couple of weeks ago I might have agreed with that, but now we have more of the injured players nearly ready he would do no more than make the bench. Plus a swop loan deal for Digne would be another poor piece of business.
  18. Very, I read 90% of Covid cases have the Omnicron variant in the Uk seeing that figure I would think that has increased.
  19. There’s a very good reason why he’s available, and it’s not because he’s any good.
  20. Why? He had more poor games at Villa than good when on loan and after a while couldn’t make the team.
  21. Just in case some don’t know the game is off.
  22. No we want Chelsea will they will put targets he has to reach before any obligation to buy at the end of the season is completed.
