  1. You can buy the best players in the world, but if you give them to a poor manager who doesn’t know how to play them in a team it’s immaterial really. Just buying names without a plan is what we have been good at for the last 5 years, hopefully in Rafa we now have a manager who buys players to fit into a system so they have a better chance of succeeding, something Koeman and some of his predecessors didn’t have a clue about.
  2. The first driver since the start of F1 to win 100 races, a true champion we should all be congratulating Hamilton for a immense achievement, which may never be repeated and he’s still in the hunt to win his 8th championship we never ever thought Schumacher’s records would be broken. If you are a fan of F1 and not Hamilton you should still be congratulating him and acknowledging such a magnificent achievement in the sport. Well done Lewis fantastic achievement
  3. Exactly, fuck off the club is more important than any individual player.
  4. He can’t be playing with the U23s whilst he’s needed as cover, as others have said not an ideal situation but needs must, we’re lucky it’s not cold windy or raining
  5. I have a niece who has cerebral palsy, she is 21 been wheelchair bound all her life with very limited movement of her upper body and arms, she can’t talk but she never stops smiling she’s a beautiful person. Why are there so many cruel idiots in this world that find it funny to emotionally hurt people with disabilities when they should be acknowledging their efforts for not being afraid of trying to overcome their disabilities and living life to the full.
  6. I have gone with Doucoure, closely followed by Allan who once again played the captain’s role the only voice we have on the pitch, but that couldn’t complete with the power of the Duke were would we be without hard work . I know but I won’t say, oh fuck it why change a habit of a life time Qatar
  7. The leather disintegrated on them 50 years ago Bill
  8. To be fair although we didn’t click as well as we would have if DCL and Richarlison were playing, I never felt we were under pressure or we could lose this, some commentator from the beeb said some Everton players didn’t even get a sweat on Norwich were that bad, being a blue I would say because we were that good
  9. I think knowing that he takes the record of most drivers championships won if he wins this year is slightly getting to him, but I’m confident he will come good
  10. We sell more umbrellas than sunglasses .
  11. And he works his nuts off, who needs James sorry I just couldn’t resist
  12. We’ve always wanted youngsters to get an opportunity your wish has been granted, Gordon, Braithwaite, Simms and Dobbin.
  13. I do, I want hard working players with ability and a brain as well.
  14. Great post, the perception by some that if you didn’t want James in your team you lack ambition is ridiculous, personally I was tired of watching us play with 10 men and hoping 11th might do something now and then, and as the weeks went on that got less and less likely. It would seem that 99.9% of clubs in Europe could see that and weren’t interested, shame more on here can’t see he wasn’t a force anymore that had deserted him years ago. Or the other excuse why he should be here even though he’s weak on the pitch is he’s great for marketing, oh fuck off another ridiculous statement.
  15. Mate it would be boring if we always agreed, I’m happy to agree with you as well as disagree with you
  16. Nearly everyone was against me and my views Koeman, I don’t think I was far off when I posted that, just took most another year to realise it
  17. Not with me mate you need to look a bit closer I was more than happy with him in September 2020 before the end of October 2020 I was having my doubts, I’m no fool mate I’m not completely taken in by someone who shines in his 1st 5 league games then does very little in the next 19. It’s becoming more clear that he wanted to leave even before Ancelotti left, and if we do finish in the bottom half of the league how do you attribute that to Benitez, he’s just got here this isn’t his mess and Rodríguez was most definitely not going to change it. For me he was never a hero and he isn’t a villain, he came here started well and finished poorly wanted to leave and got his wish, I’d rather he was prepared to take a wage cut and went to Porto before transfer window closed, to give us a chance of getting someone in who wanted to be here. If you’re such a James fan and pissed with Everton then you know where he’s gone so enjoy your time watching the Qatari league I’m sure you’ll be much happier.
  18. I agree about Allan and Doucoure, how long can Allan carry on playing at the intensity he does I don’t know possibly another season 2 at the most. I don’t see Gbamin taking over from him to be honest I don’t see him ever being a regular in the team, which is a shame really after all the bad luck he’s had to endure.
  19. One 30 year old Colombian who did very little after a magnificent 6-8 game start with less than a year left on his contract wants to leave and that means the club have no ambition, why because they have allowed it or because they never begged him to stay. Is every player who’s left this club done so because the club has no ambition, I really don’t understand that argument that we are shit because we lack ambition, the money spent the managers changed show ambition, with poor decision making the club has invested heavily but we’ve had the wrong people making the decisions. Why are we less ambitious than Spurs West Ham Arsenal Chelsea Leicester Man City Man Utd or who ever you want to name why I don’t understand.
