  1. Bring him back to face the humiliation then ban him again.
  2. He should join our forum he would fit right in
  3. Sunak is to pay for the cost of COVID-19 bail outs through higher taxes for businesses, personal pensions, private landlords and the self employed, all of which will impact me. Now I haven’t got a problem with that the money has to be raised and those who are best placed to pay more should, and those who aren’t shouldn’t be plunged into further hardship. My only reservation or concern is that this government cannot be trusted with our money, the last year has proven they are completely out of control with money been spent on Covid and Brexit.
  4. I know it did mate, and most of us are aware of your enjoyment of bad grammar, and your retorts are tongue in cheek humour and not malicious
  5. After 22 years it could have been Pigeon English even Double Dutch, and know Evertonian would have given a flying fuck, the fact we won is more important than the grammar
  6. There’s nothing wrong with criticism as long as it is justified and based on what you witnessed, but I agree with you that we should be able to praise players for playing well even if we have criticised them on numerous occasions in the past, I wouldn’t say it’s eating your words Rob if at the time you gave an honest opinion, but what you have shown is that you haven’t allowed that to completely cloud your judgment and are prepared to forget that and acknowledge and praise when they have played well.
  7. That’s spot on and it infuriates me that it happens, I get we all have our favourites and some players don’t suit our eye, but we need an equal playing field when critiquing players and try to not show double standards where possible.
  8. I’m happy with that But everyone will see things slightly and in some cases completely different, for me he was the most consistent mid out there and has been the last 3 games.
  9. In Bali I got into the Bintang beer it hit the spot in 32 degree temperatures, a great taste and cheap as chips. When I was in Cairns went to a bar on the beach at Trinity beach that was selling Somersby cider by the bottle first and only time I saw it in Australia now that really works when you need something really cool and refreshing. May have been Palm cove to many stubbies to remember.
  10. Yeah see what saying doesn’t really convey what I was trying to say very well
  11. He probably will be the one that got away, but if he doesn’t want to be here I for one don’t want him here, the sooner we get our money and put this to bed the quicker we can reinvest and move the club forward, talk of Keane is just adding to your carbon footprint.
  12. He’s got one speed set to full and the tank never seems to empty which must be a nightmare for those playing against him, this come to the for against Liverpool in the 2nd half when they tired and couldn’t live with him. For me he has a below average first touch and a sloppy short pass at times if he could improve on these side’s of his game he would be world class, the downside being he might not have been at Watford and come here for a bargain price.
  13. 50/50 for me his age is going to go against him for that length of contract, and plus I’m hoping they have a few 26-28 year olds in mind to replace him in the summer, Grealish comes to mind or a return for Barkley even, it will always live with me that the useless fat twat called Koeman was the architect in destroying Barkley’s love affair with Everton, what he could have been like under Ancelotti is worth pursuing still. But for me Gylfi’s time is done here and at best a one year extension if we can’t get the right replacement in the summer, I haven’t had a real problem with him he never stops trying even when he’s asked to play against his own strengths which sometimes don’t do him any justice. Was a good buy for us just not a very good buy.
  14. Good morning mate, it gets better every time you watch it.
  15. Nearly 4:00am and still can’t sleep been going over and over what’s just happened, thankfully it wasn’t a midweek or Sunday night game because I don’t think I would be in a fit state to go to work the next day. Did we really beat Liverpool 2-0 away?
  16. I don’t think you predicted the Liverpool game either
  17. A big player in a big game doing what big players do, we could have taken him off after 10 minutes because he’d done his job, which was to set up the first goal and send us on our way to a glorious win.
  18. Can’t choose to many deserve it, I’ll go with all your judgments who ever gets it deserves it.
  19. The spotlight was on him for this game he never let it phase him at all, in fact the opposite he put in a massive performance to prove he has nerves of steel as well as quality.
  20. He did it again a couple of times today and won the ball each time, he is one of our most improved and important players this season, can’t begin to imagine where we would be if he wasn’t here for Allans long injury, who else in the team would good enough to do what he’s done.
