  1. The sun’s out the flags are waving and I’m praying COYB
  2. I wish you had kept that to yourself
  3. I’d rather have seen Onana holding Garner playing behind DCL and Gomes pulling the strings, shame Onana is struggling looks like Gomes will get the holding role. So hopefully we will get more controlled footy and less of the long ball.
  4. Try and arrest some Burnley players and supporters for loitering
  5. I’ll wait till the team announcement before I start grabbing all the pills in the house and a bottle of whiskey. Got to be honest quite chilled at the moment, I feel confident we can do this with the right team and approach.
  6. Really what you’re saying is that you want at least as a minimum Garner or Gomes to start, or preferably both.
  7. All will become available very soon when Moshiri and MSP have dotted the i’s and crossed the t’s, unless of course they can’t agree on terms of the deal. I believe that if it does go through MSP want 2 Directors on the board.
  8. So am I it would seem. Luckily I never needed an A Level in English Language to bang a nail in
  9. Instead I have to put up with the nightmare of Dyche, but I’m trying to put a brave face on it
  10. School boy error on my part pressed the first there on predictor text. What’s your excuse
  11. Now that Moshiri has pulled the plug on 777 before the PL did, and now he is working on deal with MSP to buy 25% of his shares, if this deal comes off I believe that the money raised will be used to finance the completion of the Stadium, well at least I hope it does thus keeping the Stadium hopefully in the hands of the club. What concerns me is that Moshiri will still own 73% or so of the shares, will he now stop his money embargo and start investing in the club again and take interest in the club again, or will we still see the poor owner we have witnessed for years. We need to know more the ins and outs of this deal should it happen before we get excited, and if it doesn’t happen what next Voluntary Liquidation ?
  12. There all sulking again Mike, detention and extra homework required.
  13. I’ve just finished reading an article bigging Dyche up for his gamble of the 3 subs like he’s some sort footballing genius. Makes you realise how some pundits no very little about the game they write about, trust me he’s no genius. Firstly he should never have started the game with Doucoure Onana and Gana on the pitch at the same time, that trio in the middle gave us no quality when in possession of the ball, for the sake of the club the sooner Dyche’s gone the better. He’s got the players there at his disposal to have us in a far better position than we are in, it’s his own lack of tactical ability and knowledge that has seen us not win in 13 games and only amassed 6 points out of 39 and the worst run since the 1930s. And as he said he doesn’t care, well Dyche I think thousands of Evertonian’s realise that and they care.
  14. If only he could finish like Simms with everything else in his armour he would be one of the world’s best, and if that was the case he wouldn’t still be here the fact that he is surely has to be because no one is interested in a striker who doesn’t finish, without that everything else for a striker is meaningless.
  15. Pleased to hear it mate. It’s been a long journey
  16. Still left hanging as to what’s going on, but if you are a fan of the Esk he has climbed down on his 777 views, all though he still thinks they are the wrong choice for the club, and he would do because he doesn’t want to do a complete U-turn, he has started to backtrack on the fact he now thinks that 777 are likely to get the club very soon. So maybe not as long to wait as we think before new owners take control.
  17. Do you not think that is impact coming off bench is more because he is replacing players with less quality or something else? There is the argument that when he comes off the bench he’s fresh and the opposition are getting tired so that gives him more of an advantage than if he started. I really rate him compared to others who play in his position, he’s not built with speed and athleticism and can be slow to chase back when things break down, but what he does much better than anyone else is travel with the ball, makes space for others by attracting more 2-3 players in trying to dispossess him, and then crucially releasing the ball at the right moment without having it taken off him. I believe it was no coincidence that when he came on that we took control of the game, he’s the player with the most ability and vision in the team, and it shows that much even Stevie Wonder sees it, the only problem is we need Sean Dyche to see it.
  18. I think looks deceive slightly, he was the better of Doucoure and Gana in the midfield area and that’s what caught the eye and made him standout. Having said that I would rather play him as a more holding midfielder with Gomes and Garner, I think he would hold his position better than Gana who still drifts all over the pitch, plus he has more strength and ability when in possession than Gana. The one thing Gana still has over him is the ability to win the ball back more often, but even Gana’s stats are very average now, 4-5 seasons ago he was a round the top of the league in that department, but age comes to all of us eventually and it’s definitely caught up with Gana. So for them reasons I would Go with Gomes, Garner, and Onana over Gana, also when fit I would like to see Danjuma replace McNeil who I thought was our worst player last night, his contribution on the ball was poor and his work rate wasn’t good enough, he’s definitely becoming the weakest link in the team.
  19. Dyche needs to be braver in his team selection, we need to have players in and around the midfield that have the ability to receive the ball in tight positions and then have the ability to move it on without giving it away. All so we have stop the long balls from Pickford and Tarkowski as our favourite means of attack, they do us more harm than good, yes clear the ball long when it’s the best option of defending, but not as a tactical decision. Dyche got lucky today that Pickford wiped is arse for him. Next game let’s see a team selected to win the game and not just defend it.
  20. Was that a racist comment
  21. Hope so mate, starting with a midfield of Onana, Gana, and Doucoure meant we never going to be in control of the game. Gomes and Garner gave us so much more creativity and time with the ball, the difference was like night and day.
