  1. We need to keep him, he brings pace in to the game which we need after watching the last two games.
  2. Ta. Mike, yep I'm nervous, but I think we'll get the job done tomorrow
  3. Happy to see it's on itv4, missed last weeks game. Any idea when the next round is? would like to take my lad to his first European game before school starts again and it gets too late for him.
  4. I'd be OK sending Ashley Williams back as part of the deal, he's not impressed me so far
  5. Absolutely brilliant, what price would he command in today's market?
  6. Another bullet dodged as far as I'm concerned, too inconsistent, there's been a few flashes of brilliance but not enough for us to invest in him.
  7. Couldn't agree more, hope TP wasn't aware it was today
  8. I've wanted him to go for a while now, think we can do better with a team player, having just seen the video of him and Pogba in LA talking about seeing him in training tomorrow, I want it done now, absolutely no respect for anyone, totally self centred. If he had put as much effort into learning how to control the ball as he has on leaving Everton, I might, just might have wanted him to stay.
  9. Tristagi has is right for me, commercially it will raise our global profile many times over its current status. We all complain that we don't get the best sponsors on board, it's due to us not having the commercial clout, Rooney would raise our profile and therefore the commercial clout.
  10. Ross needs to take a long hard look at himself, to be replaced as a starter for England by Livermore, he's not doing something right, he might well have more talent and flair ( when he can be arsed to put some effort in) but it's too inconsistent. If he's not careful the boat is going to well and truely sail without him. If he wants to save his England career, he should make sure he's no 1 choice on his clubs team sheet week in week out. I would love him to do it here, but I struggle to see it happening
  11. Excellent news, really happy with this, it's a bit of a punt, but should work well, hope it's the first of a few quality signings for this window.
  12. Ta Shukes, I've been a lurker on here for the past few years so I do know all the characters and their biases With the internet it's now so easy to create a rumour from nothing that spreads in to gospel! I think Steve Walsh has done OK so far in Gana, Morgan and From the little we've seen Lookman, let's hope he's got a few realistic prospects on the go for this window, being in the Europa should make us more attractive to join, maybe for some who would be considered by the top 4 but wouldn't get regular game time. I do think we're in a good period of transition, think back to a few years ago, we were signing the likes of Li Tie, Alexanderson, Kilbane, and Alcaraz
  13. Newby here, Finally I've managed to register on the forum, and managed to get first ever season tickets for me and my lad, so looking forward to the new season. COYB! I'd like to see Rom and Ross sorted early doors, I think they are both going to go this window, I'd be happy if Ross stays, but I think we need to give him more support to take the pressure off him and let him play more naturally. Rom I think is gone, I'd like to see a No 9 who can hold up the ball and have a bit of control, bags 20+ a season and most importantly puts some effort in every game (guess that echoes most people on here though) From the back Heaton or Pickford RB To cover Coleman while he recovers, move Holgate in to CB. Creative AM to take presssure off Ross if he stays I do think Vardy could do a job for a coupe of years, his energy suits the high press, and he knows how to find the back of the net OK Be gentle on me please
