  1. Missed today's game, but reading this it's sounds dire, wrong team selection and formation and we get what we deserve.
  2. Me too Bailey, best we don't rush him back, although mentally he may want to play at least once this season and not miss a complete one.
  3. Pickford closely followed by DCL for his efforts, Sandro was really the only sub standard performance for me
  4. We sat too deep all game, and rode our luck a fair few times. Poor ref, many decisions going against us. But we've gained another point, not conceded, and will have grown in confidence from that. We need to link winning the ball in our half through to the attacker (s)better , DCL is far too isolated, but he puts in a shift every game, he still, needs to be more clinical though. Schnierdelin improved as the game went on, still think he needs to move forward with the ball more. Lennon hassled, Keane grew more confident, Jags made some greatvlast gasp stops, Willliams solid for his half, Kenny maturing every game, Cuco better but still not good enough for the PL. Sigyy was Ok was expecting ore from him in Rooney absence. Still haven't seen anything from Sandro to make me think he's any substance, kept running away from the ball, and DCL. As many have said, under Koeman we would have been battered once again. Got to be pleased we weren't.
  5. I like Gana, his energy is vital to the team IMHO. Having been to every home game this season, him and Schniederlin just don't work well together. I've not seen Schniederlin launch any attacks yet, he's great at going sideways or backwards. He used to be better, don't know what's happened to him. Gana does get caught out of position and on th wrong side of his man at times, but he is far more positive in all aspects of his game, if he could work on his shooting skills, he would be so much better.
  6. I want us to strengthen the team but not too many, how many of us were critical that we had brought in too many in the last window and the issues it caused. LB and proven striker should be enough with the returning injured players for me.
  7. I've just read the report, it's OK with me, he wants them to be focused on the games not getting pissed, he's said they can do that in Jan when there's a bit more time between games. Poor loves missing the drinky winky before Xmas.
  8. We shouldn't pick on players, but of course we're going to do cos we're passionate about our team. If he scored a worldly like he did for the saints against Arsenal, I'd be happier with him, but he just gives me the heebie geebees when he's near the ball 90% of the time, no other player does...... thankfully, yes I get pissed of with every single one at times, but no where near 90% OK I did with Williams earlier in the season but he's been good the last 3 games, maybe being having Holgate alongside is the reason which I've said elsewhere.
  9. Sorry Bill, I think Holgate as a CB is vital, he has been winning virtually all of his aerial challenges, and alongside Williams ( who I slated earlier in the season) they've been pretty solid since the West Ham game. I think Holgates speed lets williams relax a bit and brings a better game out of him. how about Lennon at LB and Vlasic in front of Kenny?
  10. Happy with that, he's improving each week.
  11. JonJoe for his passion and commitment, closely followed by Hogate and Rooney. Cuco, Please never let him wear the shirt again
  12. Did anyone see Williams telling Cuco to man up towards the end, good to see williams having some authority, it's been missing from his game most of the season. But Cuco is just awful, I've never been so worried when a player gets near the ball as I am with him, he goes into a tackle without any determination to win the ball, he just seems to hit it against the opponents legs every time. He had plenty of opportunity to win the tackle today but failed. We must have a better alternative we can play though the rest of December until the window opens.
  13. Crap game, crap tactics, skilful play from Salah, clever play from DCL to win the penalty. ill take the point, it's a better result for us than the shite, and we're back up to 10th
  14. I agree he wins the majority of balls played up to him in the air, we just need to be first to the flick on more frequently, hope he continues to delveop his game with us. Some have mentioned he needs to bulk up a bit, he had to change his shirt at either the Burnley or Arsenal game ( can't remember which one) he is very toned, it doesn't show when he's wearing a shirt, a couple of extra kilos will make him more of a handful for defenders.
  15. Have faith Sams got a week to whip them into shape But yeh ill be behind the sofa too
  16. OK Not as influential as Wednesday night. Two free kicks in the first half were dire, straight onto goalies arms. 3rd kick came up in similar position, Rooney shooed him away and took it. he wasn't running around helplessly as he had been in earlier games, but didn't seem to win any aerial challenges that he had. A steady 7 would be my rating, which is significantly better then he was getting early part of the season.
  17. Erwin who ? Never saw him move or make any noise, didn't realise he was involved.!
