  1. Possibly right, anyhow, let's get him fit and ready for the start of next season, while he's recovering he could send him a tape of how to win aerial challenges to Michael Keane
  2. What ! Gana and Schniederlin on the pitch together, no thanks. I can handle Gana playing but no Schniederlin, he's been a ghosting passenger the season, doesn't deserve a place, I'd rather Benni who wants to play for us.
  3. He's settling in very well, happy with what I've seen so far ( bar giving away the free kick that led to Stokes goal at the weekend)
  4. Please let it be a panic moment, cos I'm feeling the same
  5. Me too, fingers are crossed for BFS to go soon
  6. wait until you get cramp in your hamstrings, I suffer from tight hamstrings which is from a back related injury years ago. I have to do stretches first thing each morning and at night which tend to keep it at bay, plus daily magnesium etc etc. However my work involves getting into tight spaces or being in the same scrunched up position sometimes which can be the trigger.
  7. I don't think yesterday's performance was down to any one player, we actually seemed to have a balanced team from the start. Having Baines back is a real bonus, it seemed to allow the LCH to focus on his game and not worry about covering Cuco ( not going to put all blame on him, but he is clearly a wink link at LB) which in turn meant the RCH wasn't worrying about having to cover his partner, and Coleman brings balance to the right, Kenny did a good job, but needs more experience which is understandable. Cenk gave us an outlet for the back, he both held up play and also brought both wingers and the midfield into the game. Twp proper wingers gave us the width and pace in attack we've missed, and allowed the midfield to play as a unit. Finally with all of the above the threat on our goal was reduced, apart from a couple of brain farts towards the end. Same team Saturday and move on ASAP Sam, still don't want you here.
  8. Leighton Baines, gave a very assured performance on his return, drove us forward well and solid in defence, more importantly he gave us back the balance the team has been missing, allowing the centre backs not to feel the need to cover, and the Lw to be more attacking minded. Overall a good team performance which makes a change from recent weeks.
  9. I don't want him saving, just out of our club, now !
  10. Tosun as he gave us some hope, and did well for the time he was on. other than Pickford ( who maybe should have done better for both goals though) Coleman and Siggy we were awful once again
  11. Allardyces master plan continues apace, destroys our confidence and what credibility we had, takes no blame for any failiures, and readies himself for the payoff so he can go on to West Brom for another payday.
  12. Go now please Sam, its mine and my sons first year as a season ticket holders, we would like to renew and continue to support this great club, but while your here, it's In question. You have a reputation for making teams difficult to beat, clearly that ability has passed, so be honest with yourself, that is if you have the ability to do so, and not continue to be delusional, and do the decent thing for everyone who loves this club.
  13. Haven't seen any of the game yet, will do later today, but I did listen to the game, and from what you've put it sounds right. Your final paragraph is also right IMO, and comes from BFS ( big fat Sam) from being a negative and unadventurous manager, just seems to want to sneak a draw or occasionally a result. Bleak times ahead until he goes.
  14. Take the 919 Goodison dedicated bus from outside the Marriott Hotel on St Johns Lane which is just outside Lime St, drops you off in from of Goodison and gives a good first moment for your son to see the ground, go into the fan zone which is in front of the park end and soak up the atmosphere, and take a walk down Goodison Rd before you go in, still excites me each time. Have a great day, and a win!
  15. Loads of differences in opinions here, lots slagging him off (me included) So in an effort to balance out the argument can anyone elude to the last time Schniederlin performed well for us please? No references to Gana, just when Schniederlin last did his job to a level we expect and can accept.
  16. This For me, he has become the master of the easy option of sideways or backward passing, rather than trying to create, and jogging alongside the opposition when a tackle should be put in.
  17. Tom Davies for me, Close run thing between him and Theo, Tom edged it with his constant energy and desire to move forward as a midfielder.
