  1. Surely we're not going to keep him for next season, there nothing to be gained from having him there. We've maintained our PL status and need to move forward, which we will never do with a dinosaur. Pay him off ( much as it pains me to give him such a large amount, but we've made our bed so to speak ) and get a forward thinking manager who will take us forward .
  2. As an aside point, anyone else noticed that he always scoops the ball in the air when clearing, never seems to get any real distance or power, and we always pass back to him at kick off, surely it should go to someone who has better distribution?
  3. Thought we would, and certainly should have been singing that on Monday, or we so engrossed in the match seeing so many shots on target!
  4. Went for Gana, solid performance, I don't expect him to be the player maker, so won't crucify him for not doing so. Schniederlin was a major surprise last night, played a small if he wanted to have an impact on the game for the first time this season. Solid if very dull performance from the whole team, no real shocks there then given our managers style.Sooner he goes the better.
  5. Totally agree with this, he's working on a policy of making himself look good ( if that's possible IMO) at the expense of the team performing well.
  6. What a load of crap, "targeting winnable games" he seems to have over looked the away games we were capable of winning, given that the right team and formation were sent out on to the pitch. Allardyce must have so many journalists in his back pocket the way that they are defending him, or does he have a few hit men he has borrowed from Russia who the journalists are all frightened of? its making my blood boil seeing the press defend the arrogant lump of lard.
  7. So we do t want another Sam type then? Roberto Unsworth would be good for me
  8. Me too, let's hope it has the right impact we want and need
  9. 100% Yes, he is making our team look like fools, sets them up wrong, make poor substitutions, then blames the players for any bad result. we drew yesterday against Swansea, we were meant to be a team pushing for a top 4-5 finish this season, he was pleased with a "tough point", which simply isn'tt good enough, and the big issue is that he will always be this way, as others have said, Newcastle fans hated him. Hammers fans hated him also. After Martinez was sacked, Unsy brought in some of the youngsters against Norwich and we got a good result, we finished off our season with a feeling of optimism, we need to do the same, in advance of bringing in whoever the board have lined up.
  10. Didn't get to watch today, sounded awful on the club internet feed. Only good thing that can happen ( and must ) is BFS goes, he's sucking all spirit out of our club.
  11. After his woeful display last week, I don't want to see him start tomorrow, surely Vlasic time to shine has arrived.
  12. I'd agree with both, get him playing in a team with more confidence and I'm sure we'll see a difference. Plenty of other strikers throughout the leagues miss their opportunity, Sterling could have put City out of sight on last Saturday. ( don't like him but he's improved his scoring this season under Pep )
  13. He public comments are so toxic, what the hell are they like in private. He's starting to do a mass character assassination on the squad. We need to get rid now!
  14. Always been a head less chicken, but today he gave a masterclass in being totally useless and a liability
  15. Jags for me, rock solid and gave a true lead by example display. Pickford as solid as ever, and Tom ran his legs off.
  16. I'm not saying he deserves a place over Gana by any shape or form, what I meant was that he was marginally better than he has been for most of this season, he played the ball forward more then sideways, and made a coup,e of tackles, which he has failed to do all season. He clearly is comfortable with himself playing that way for Everton. I'm not and he can be moved on in the summer, he had an opportunity yesterday to show some desire and failed in that respect.
  17. I agree also, poor first half ( and everyone else ) better in 2nd half, a few decent tackles and moved the ball forward, but still too much jogging around aimlessly.
