  1. I don’t think Holgate is playing that well, but he’s got Iwobi in front doing a fine impression of running sideways with the ball, or away from it then Chelsea attack ( bar one sliding clearance), put a decent player in front of Holgate and I’m sure he would look a lot better. It’s only 1-0 we’re still in this, but we need to be more decisive with the ball, also need to revert to where we’re strong, getting good crosses in to the box for DCL and Richy.
  2. 0-2 to us please that’s what I e predicted. It’s going to be a tough game, if we hold our nerve we can do it
  3. So let’s not mention him then, please...this is Carlos thread
  4. Pretty much like the rest of the team tonight,!
  5. Richarlison, got the winning goal and was the more threatening of the forward all game.
  6. And I was over confident in getting 3!
  7. We were a long way from being pretty or good, but we’ve done it again and taken the three points, let’s take it and move on to another win on Monday, if we keep getting the points who knows what will happen.
  8. If anyone has the staying power to watch that, they deserve a medal for blue loyalty!
  9. He’s just served a one match ban, and had 9 days between games, he should be fine for the next two.
  10. Yes it was tough, gave my vote to Pickford, ensured we kept the three points. Richy, Allan and DCL strong contenders. Doucoure would win every game for his running, just wish his passing was a bit more accurate.
  11. Slight knocks for James, Tom, Seamus and Olsen, so rested tonight but expected OK for Thursday. The starting 11 is strong enough to beat Southampton, as long as we come out and play with some urgency and don’t play negative.
  12. Time warp, it might just be 4th March, whatever I hope we stuff them, and his negative respect the point shit.
  13. Shukes, I think you have said what we were all trying to say, thank you.
  14. What if you had a space and we lost the first home game, we would have to kill you, and feed you to the fish in the Mersey !
  15. I’ve just given praise to big Mick Keane on his thread, used to cringe when his name came of the team sheet a couple of seasons ago, not now.
  16. Me too, and your right he’s very much improved, I used to cringe when his name was on the team sheet a couple of seasons ago, full credit to him for becoming so reliable.
  17. Bloody hell, that’s incredible, I’ll name my team of the week, but talk about Liverpool rather than the quality of the players in putting in my team. I wish I could be that shite at work and still get paid!
  18. One of our most improved players this season, granted it was needed, I was starting to think it wouldn’t happen for him here, however playing under a manager who clearly instills confidence in his players, and seems to know where to play them, Tom sitting in front of the back four seems his best position, he has the vision and ability to make good passes ( still makes some mistakes of course) and is making timely tackles and interceptions, a nice mix of ability with Allan, Doucoure and Gomes. I think it’s also important to have a local lad in the squad.
  19. I agree, but not many were saying that at kick off!
  20. Voted JP but could have been any given the result, but JP made vitally important saves keeping the clean sheet, hopefully the rest has got him back to his best.
