  1. A swap for JonJoe is ok with me, King would be a better back up striker than Tosun, he can also play wide if needed.
  2. Doucoure gets my vote, drove us forward and solid defending, oh and got the winner, Olsen solid throughout apart from not getting down to their goal. Mina solid and settled the Keane down.
  3. Gotta love how we make hard work of games we should cruise through. Anyhow were in the draw for 4th round
  4. Missed the first 14 minutes, and from what I’ve seen since then it’s been awful, poor playing out of the back, not winning knock downs, misplaced passing. Only decent bit was when we slowed down for Tosuns second chance, need to play our own game with more assurance. Keane seems to be off the pace, Coleman keeps over running the ball and in to trouble, surely we will be better in 2nd half.
  5. It’s BT Sport extra, had to go to BT3 the press red button to access the game, finally in
  6. Never was and never will be, we should sell and get as much as we can and reinvest in someone who wants to be here.
  7. Decent back up keeper who’s helping Pickford become more focused due to the pressure of having a decent no2
  8. A agree and hope your right, but he looks totally disinterested at the moment, doesn’t try to take on the full back down the line, just runs into blind alleys, and didn’t track back as much last night as he usually does.
  9. Awful tonight, somethings not right, I wonder if there’s a move lined up for January and he is keeping himself out of the way to avoid injury
  10. Birthday boy Doucoure, looked like the only one who wanted to win, pre Gomes who also looked good
  11. 20 for me. Ably assisted by my son who seems to have amazing memory of most Everton trivia.
  12. At first I thought it was the right decision based on what was said, a number of personnel testing positive. Now their OK for the this weekends game, starting to smell like rotting fish in a warm dumpster to me.
  13. Hope city players recover OK, and glad their not bringing it to us via the game. Think this is overall good for us, we now get 6 days rest between games, so hopefully we can field strongest team against West Ham, then it’s the FA so we can rest a few, and when the games rescheduled we’ve both strengthened in the January window and key payers are back and fit
  14. Thought he was very good on Saturday, the only thing he could do better is to release the ball a bit quicker, on a couple of occasion he won the ball then tried to beat another man and lost possession, hopefully something he will learn to do.
  15. Gave my vote to Siggy, ran all over the pitch, created some good openings and got the winner, overall a solid if unspectacular team performance including the subs bar Gordon who failed to take his change IMO.
  16. Spot on and nice to recognise the positives. COYB
  17. We won, and at the moment that’s all I care about, 3 more points and we’re 2nd. Dull, ugly game against a dull ugly team, would like to think we’re going to perform better, but we’re missing key players and don’t have a great bench to call upon, so it’s OK for me. Solid back four again, Tom did well in the role he was asked to fulfill, decent moments from Iwobi, Siggy and Dom, but overall a solid team performance that did the job again.
  18. Nigel Spackman, Ex Liverpool as co commentator, so anti Everton comments to be expected, drove me mad, never mind his mispronunciations of players names.
  19. Enjoy the game mate, we were there on Wednesday, fantastic to be back in the ground
