Iwobi has been iwoeful yet again, looks like a rabbit in headlights when he gets the ball, and makes the wrong decision, and when he hasn’t got the ball he’s slow to close down and always seems flat footed and slow to respond to any pass in his direction. Pickford continues to wobble with the easy stuff, Carlo will decide on his future.

Both the turn, surge forward and then the pass, it was one of his “scoop” kicks, if you haven’t seen it, have a look closer he often hits a high looping pass, some times he needs to whack it though. Last night was the best example of a scoop IMO

DCL missed parts due to stream so Can really only go on the goals, but hell another hatrick will do for me.

Well spotted, I’d be happy for them to take Delph, Ramirez Bolassie and Besic, Tosuns a good finisher maybe worth keeping hold for this season as back up for DCL.

Great word and well used! Seamus is going nowhere under Carlo, apart from up the steps to lift a trophy. Fully expect him to see his playing days out with us.

Based on Keane current form, him and Holgate as preferred pairing, so I wouldn’t be happy with anything over £10 for a back up, particularly as we know him and he’s not to the level of our recent acquisitions.

I’m sure I’ve written sometime earlier on this thread, I saw him at the end of a game a couplee of seasons ago, he gave his shirt to a lad in the Gwladys St end, without his short he was incredibly toned, like a flippin washboard, since then he’s bulked out and remained ripped giving him so much upper body strength and He’s still very quick running. The last 15 minutes on Saturday he played a brilliant CF game, chased everything and won fouls slowing down any momentum Palace had.

Maybe not as captain, but was a great player for us.

When did Zaha play for Spurs? Joking aside I think he’s the unsung signing for us this season, he covers so much ground and with true purpose, there were some sloppy passes in the first half, but he didn’t let it get at him, sign of a good player, very similar to Richy not having his shooting boots on until the Fleetwood game.

Gave my vote to Allan, but it could have been anyone else bar Mina who had a few too many wobbles. A thumbs up for all posts above mine.

And we’re top of the league! It certainly wasn’t our best game but we got the points which is what is really about, we played some nice football at times, and when we did we were in control, need to keep doing that.

Palace are good and tough to play against. DCL is doing what he’s being asked to do, stay in between to posts, previously he wa running everywhere and we thought he was great, but couldn’t score, I know which version I prefer.

A good manager is going to say that, he’s not going to slag him off in public if we’re looking for a keeper as prices will rise, or trying to sell him as Pickford value would drop. The past two games he’s had poor back passes which seem to have given him a head wobble and caused him to loose concentration, Carlo will have picked up on that and will be working on it, both with Pickford and the defenders.

He’s been brilliant the last two games, strong on the ball, and much better close control, his 2nd tonight and the assist for James at the weekend we’re both great. Still doesn’t smile much though !
