  1. We’re all hoping that our current manager has far more ability to motivate the players and this doesn’t happen.
  2. In general no, but in this lad yes, it would be like missing out on Maddison when he moved on
  3. There were but him and Sggy more so as it was the midfield, or rather lack of that cost us the game.
  4. His “best before date” seems to have come and gone very quickly, hasn’t done a thing of note this season apart from a good goal against West Ham, and we have been relying on him to run our midfield, hasn’t happened and doesn’t look like it ever will again, time to sell or use as sub for last few minutes if we’re winning if we can’t offload him in the window. On a side note, I don’t really understand how any professional footballer can’t put in a good ball from a free kick or corner, the ball is static and there’s no one pressing them, all pro golfers and most low handicappers can hit a target zone time after time.
  5. We lacked any sort of confidence today, when we did get a chance we fluffed it, should have been 3 up by half time with the game out of sight. The slow negative midfield was applying in the second half, we allowed their kids to grow in confidence and win with a great strike. Carlo said he was waiting until after today to look at transfers, well he now really has a good idea of what’s needed, we need to be aggressive in getting rid of the players who are failing us week in week out, Siggy, Schniederlin, Delph, the others I can live with until the summer.
  6. Started the conversation this morning , and in any case we won’t go out and buy the 11 best in the world this window will we, will we?
  7. Huh yeah, 6 months loan initially, till Andre and JP return to full fitness
  8. Seems liked then, would be one of the more realistic moves for us to go for
  9. On,y if we can bring someone in to replace Siggy, For Morgan we can use the U23 squad
  10. And probably been caught out of position less, I want him back here after the loan finishes, he’s a true blue and will run through brick walls, gives the same lift to the team that DCL does when we’re being over run and they put a strong tackle in IMO
  11. Cross threaded here lads, this is DCL not Richy, but your right!
  12. Aaron Mooy is on loan at Brighton and getting rave reviews from their fans, I’d be happy to look at bringing him here for the rest of the season with a view to buy
  13. With all the paper talk of Utd wanting Richy and DCL, I’d like to see us put a bid in for Rashford, those three in blue shirts would frighten the life out of many defences under Carlo, and a long term investment I’d much rather take instead of Bale or James Rodgrguez. Let’s show our real intent
  14. Finn, it’s good to share, some times easier with those we don’t know face to face. Best wishes to all, we never know what’s around the corner, good or bad, all we can do is make the most of what we have and to help others less fortunate if we can. Our beloved club is in an exiting place, quality manager, financial backing, new ground, squad that can improve under the manager, and best of all, us the fans who are the club. COYB!
  15. We do learn our habits and skills growing up, and we learn to improve, embrace the good manage out the bad, ask the dinosaurs. Yes he needs to man up and be more aggressive in his style of play if he wants to continue at Everton and earn a bloody good wage, or are you happy for him to continue to be knocked off the ball as easily as his is. Speed will never come if it’s not there but game reading and anticipation can be developed.
  16. Sorry I’m not buying that, if he’s not learnt how to use his strength properly in the premier by now, he never knew how to use it properly. Needs to man up or move on.
  17. I was going to say the same thing, significant improvements are being seen and enjoyed, really excited about the rest of season and beyond.
  18. DCL for me, based on radio commentary and MOTD highlights, got both goals and did a good job at CF, Pickford needs a mention, couple of good saves and didn’t do his dickhead impressions in front of his old enemy.
  19. Playing under Silva it would be understandable, however the situation has changed, he would be daft to move now, unless his family haven’t settled here.
  20. No Not sure I that’s true but it felt like it, I remember one game where JonJoe blasted over the bar after 45 mins, our first effort on goal at home, horrible stuff to have endured.
  21. I’ve watched him over the last three seasons, he has always struck me as a player who will run and run and run for the team, in addition to that with the support he now has he has become in the goalscorer that we’ve always wanted him to be. I really hope that it continues to develop becomes one of the best strikers we’ve seen at Goodison for a long time, I do think of the teams will come knocking on our door for him, but I think Dom is a player who will stay at Goodison as he appears to love playing here and is now getting love from us as well
