I don't think we will improve until the ownership changes, the whole board have proved time and again they are incompetent.
Until then we will struggle to attract good players, feel for Frank big task ahead of him.

But he hasn't, that's the thing.
He may remain till the autumn, but only as a puppet, not involved in any decisions.

Glad the clown has gone, but puts the country in more chaos just when we need stability, and a bit of common sense.
Time for labour to step up and show some leadership.

Have to remember his age and the midfielders ahead of him at Wolves are not to shabby - so maybe just not getting the game time ahead of the Portuguese contingent at the club, Wolves's midfielders have been performing. He did very well at Sheffield Utd - who only got knocked out of the play-offs by Forest. Last year was his first run proper at consistent first team selection - and held his own very well.
Like I said, it easy to focus on Gallagher as the shining star, and he will come with the price tag (even the like of me and you can scout Gallagher as a very good player!!) - Club need to perhaps be a little bit cleverer given our pockets are not that deep at the moment.
Agree with some of what you say, but he impressed in the championship, not premier league, some of wolves' midfielders are well into their 30s, and he should have made it to a regular slot.
if it was 10mil yes, but not 25-30mil, plus Gallagher has made a huge difference in the premiership, wherever Hes been, i would pay the extra for him, rather than take another chance on a player who frankly has never looked to take the premiership by storm, and still looks like a squad player.
Just my opinion.
-
Reading that he was not always first choice, and his game time was restricted, is this really going to move us forward. And it's a lot of money for another squad player.
If he did not set wolves on fire, why would he here.

I think everything is on hold, if we are being sold, the new owners may have put a block on any sales and purchasers till there feet are under the table.

I don't even know why but I don't have a good feeling about this Kenyon consortium at all.
It's probably just the Evertonian in me .
Yes, we fear the worst, and we are usually right.

If, as being touted on SSN we sell our 2 best players, and take forty winks as part of the deal, then that says everything about our ambition, and predicament.
If our chairman is looking to bail out (hopefully) he might just sanction this and pocket the cash on his way out.

2 months ago Iwobi was a dud until Lampard changed his system.
Iwobi still has a long way to go to justify that 35mil fee, it will take a lot more than 3 months of ok games to eradicate the 3 years of piss poor, under various managers.
But as i said im happy to give Frank the chance to build a team, just this signing does not fill me with hope, i did not rate winks long before we were interested.
But the game is all about opinions, and we all have our own, i hope im wrong. and hope Iwobi continues to improve.

Anyone who has watched Winks over the last 18 months knows they are not getting an upgrade on anything that is already here.
As for other people knowing better just look at last 5 years signings, no expertise required there.
As for giving the new regime a chance to sort things out, I'm all for that, but i still think we have watched the game long enough to spot a dud when we see one.

don't believe SSN are now saying we are in for him, my spurs mate cannot stop laughing.
One paced, negative, always back or Sideways, could not tackle a good dinner, could not score in a brothel with a fist full of money.
Have we not learned anything these last 5 years, buying other clubs cast offs who don't get in their own team, for God's sake use some imagination, and try something new.
Try some young upper coming talent from around Europe. not the same kind of shite players we keep going for.

48 hours then

Bang average, would not improve us one bit, very negative, sideways and backwards. A fit Davis is a much better prospect, im sure we have better youngsters who need a chance, that was something we used to do well, give youth a chance.
Also, our chairman has just stated he intends to spend more wisely, this would be a good start, by keeping it in his pocket.

Wondered what happened to him since the Rockford Files

Is Thursdays game on TV
-
Our last chance saloon is palace on Thursday, Arsenal need to win to get in the champions league.
Cannot believe we took one point of games with Watford, and Brentford, but that's why we are where we are.
If we do stay up it will be down to what others do, not what we do.
Never got a wink of sleep last night.
As often said on here it's the hope that kills you.
-
Yes i accept the point, and we are a poor side, but Watford are a piss poor side.
