  1. Let's rate the manager whilst we are at it.....
  2. Moyes really is and should be questioned as to whether he is the right man to manage us, that circus upstairs is another matter. Most know my feelings there, I'm just very genuinely annoyed and tired with it all.
  3. Absolute joke!!! Really, words fail me, how far have we fallen? The set up was negative, bring on strikers when it's late, rodwell will be thinking of walking no doubt. The lad looks shot of confidence, no structure or zip about our play. Aaaarrrrrgggghh so angry, stick arteta in the reserves till he remembers how he can play....
  4. Why do we only start playing when it's late?
  5. This is awful, moyes sort it out!!!
  6. Tempo is shocking, get the passing snappier and we will destroy them. Little bit of overplay at times, go for the jugular second half, let's park in their half.
  7. I would go full on attack, Vaughan yak and cahill attacking, Felli rodwell and arteta in midfield, get the width from full backs pushing on, oh to dream eh
  8. Action speaks louder than words, "watch this space" followed by nothing is not ambition. We have some people sitting on our board who are content to sit by and watch while moyes has to self fund transfer activity, Buying the land for finch farm selling it to a developer and then renting it over 25 years at a cost of way in excess of what it would have done if we funded it ourselves without being able to class it as an asset?! Surely the ambitious board could have bridged the funds until the sale of bellefield was approved for development, that way giving the club ownership of a prime training facility. There is more than this example as to why I doubt the ambition at board level. Moyes has admitted that the chances of unearthing lower league diamonds etc under the radar are pretty much reduced nowadays, so let's stop using cahill etc as an example of how the club can or should do it's business. The average age of the established players Is not bad, but in the next three years we will be likely to be looking to replace 4 key positions with very little sell on coming from the incumbents
  9. Both European cup winners, fa cup, uefa cup, enough? Yep pretty painful. Still their fans demand more, protest when feeling short changed, whilst our fans need to study enough economics to gain a masters degree to comprehend the state of our club. accept the fact that the likes of rodwell will or should be sold in order to arm davie with enough money to make several sub £10m players in the hope we see another arteta, baines or Cahill. Ambition?
  10. Did Liverpool sell gerrard and carragher? No they kept them and bought torres, reina etc. The existing board would love all the fans to be as ambitious as the post you submitted.
  11. They ended up signing as "our" players did they not? We do not have the money to sign Donovan, the insult is very much in the fact that we clearly need a player of his standing in the team someone with pace and technique, but yes the only way we can get them is on a loan, because we are skint. Then only to have him for a couple of months? - it's a joke. The previous mentioned players were ours for the following season - not just a few matches to help us out. Where is the continuity there? The whole plucky wheel and deal, "we are skint can I borrow a cup of sugar?" act is getting tiring, as is the number of fans prepared to accept our situation, a £5m net spend over nearly 3 years? - at a time when the club needed that little injection of quality to break top 4, I point you to Spurs. Moyes was crying out for a striker at the end of last season, what did we get? An unproven free transfer. Blimey the number of fans who keep pointing to Moyes success at jumble sales is amazing. Ah I forgot, look what happened to Portsmouth and Leeds....
  12. I agree with the stability case and let's be honest, working in the loan Market is an insult to the fans. We should be signing permanent players, Jarvis from wolves would do for me.
  13. It's ok lads, I've tweeted him, that will seal it.
  14. Sarcasm, me?! Watching re-run of the game. 3 points are most welcome and we had a bit of a bad luck rebate. We are so much In need of pace it's untrue. Why do we sit back?
  15. We won, I take it all back, what was I thinking?!
  16. Seriously? Game kicks off in half hour, by the end of the first half how many times will jags have launched a long punt to Cahill and Anichebe? Overpassing it in the final third is no way an indication of nice football when it is down to players not prepared to have a crack.
  17. Because he has managed to get a historically lump it and hit it team playing nice stuff. Has managed to get average players doing great things. Because he isn't a manager who once was bright and is now stale. Because he isn't the 5th highest paid "coach" who appears to have run out of ideas, who uses lack of funds as some sort of disclaimer.
  18. Progress is relative to the competition, of course the team we have now is far better than the one moyes inherited. As it stands we are in real danger of relegation. The problem I have is that he is not getting them playing with any versatility, imagination, pace. We are rigid, one dimensional and he struggles to get improvement. The one bonus of this struggle is that the clowns on the board are in real danger of being smoked out. Moyes is using the lack of strikers and needing loans etc, bill and the boys will not be pleased about that, good!!!
  19. Can we loan Owen coyle to manage the team?
  20. Confucious is an evertonian, get it there! Quality analogy.
  21. Nothing fun about our stats Mike, because the one statistic you are placed in the league is how many points you have. Selective stats? ah you mean whether or not you represent the prosecution or the defence. I'm neither. I'm an analyst by profession. If things are going well, what are we doing well and what can we improve to make things better. If things aren't going well, where are we going wrong? Are things going well? I'm going to say no. Therefore highlighting the fewest conceded away goals is not in my interest, it is the fact that we have one of the poorest home records, joining the elite company of West Ham, Blackpool and Wigan.
  22. Hafnia

    Man City (Away)

They will score, no doubt about that, especially if they play Johnson and deliver the ball into the box. Our only hope is if we set up and have a go at them, not holding my breath.
  23. Clearly we have different levels of expectation. It's ironic that the two teams with -15 and -12 goal difference, we managed to score a total of 1 goal against - without beating either. We have the joint lowest goals scored at home, and have managed to score more than 1 goal at home on two ocassions - Man U and Liverpool. That says alot. What have you seen to suggest that we will improve? We have had the easiest spell of games we will have for the season and we have won 3 games from 17, it is a very scary statistic. The manager has had as close to a full squad in years and he has proven many right (Everton worshiper) who said that he only seems to get the team playing when he is under pressure, give him options and he 'fumbles' The get rid talk is fully justified, why isn't it?
