  1. Out of all the comments on the game this one sticks out, this couldn't be more true. Our problem with not playing 2 strikers from the start is there is no one in midfield to control play; Fellaini cannot impose himself enough on a whole game, Rodwell is very defensive (and good at it), Cahill is not creative, Osman just seems to be outplayed a lot this season and Bily is a winger.
  2. Only watch it because of Holly...honest. She actually looks similar to my wife so I guess my wife should be flattered...right? I bet he's not happy with 4 teeth out...yikes! My little boy is laughing already at 3 weeks old and his eyes follow us round the room, if he is crawling next week I won't get any work done.
  3. Daytime TV is rubbish...until you switch on "This Morning" and get to look at Holly Willoughby for a couple of hours
  4. Hibbertoni for me, who would have thought 2 games in a row he has got votes for MOTM from people. Heitinga played very well but still something about him that is worrying at times. Jo once again looked like a prolific goal scorer... I really do like Distin, turing out to be a great buy.
  5. Once again a very good article and a good read. Someone who looks at the situation with their eyes open instead of the usual blinkered Bill bashing approach (cue usual TT suspect(s)...) :smile_anim: :thumbsup_anim:
  6. 3-0 Hibbertoni to top off a good week *runs off to check odds* Saha 2.
  7. Yep...remember when he was our emergency striker, he seemed a totally different player than he has so far this season.
  8. Yeah, slippery surface = rash tackles. Just a shame he booked Agard for putting the ball in the net, no need for that. What was suprisingly obvious is the big void left by no Rodwell or Neville in front of the defence.
  9. Oi, don't go spoiling the magical outfit's powers with uninteresting facts
  10. Without a doubt Hibbertoni! Gets a bashing from most on here yet in an unfamiliar position was best player on the pitch. He seem more intelligent in the middle and able to read the game better. Distin was a close second, he goes about his job well and moves well for a big guy. Fellaini was back to his usual self Agard is an exciting player when he comes on, he needs more minutes in the 1st team.
  11. Uh Oh...just found his little kit neatly folded and smelling freshly washed. Don't hold out much hope for tonight's game now
  12. That has to be one signing SAF regrets. £30m+ for Berbatov was daylight robbery...he shows no signs of improving either. I doubt Saha would get the attention he does here from medical staff and trainers at United, in fact wasn't that one of his reasons for leaving?
  13. It is with regards to a quote from Moyes (he must be generally a bit thick) where he questioned, but later denied questioning, the age of Yakubu and Nigerian players in general. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/africa/7260868.stm Surprised it took Mr Negativity so long to have a dig at someone in a thread
  14. Strikers are never remembered for their contribution, only their goals. Maybe Moyes meant to say that for his "age" Yak needs to run about some more.
  15. Good, it means there is going to be real competition in the middle of the park.
  16. Still my prediction for our top scorer. He is oozing goals at the moment, long may it continue.
  17. Was it a new home up here or his home in London? Either way, this is getting stupid...soon someone is going to get hurt unless police track down the "gang" behind these...
  18. Since my son was born, we have won 4, scored 12, conceded 0. I have a little Everton outfit that he has worn each time we played (even at a few days old)...I dare not wash it in case it washes away the magical powers! (P.S. It doesn't smell....yet)
  19. Yes, yes, yes. Exactly what we need in the squad. I have been a fan for a while and watch him as often as he is playing in a televised match. Bit early for speculation but let's hope there is some truth in this one.
  20. Saha for me, looking to be our most valuable player at the moment. Plus, he won me a £20 bet I had with my dad that he would get the first goal. Heitinga looked...well...Hibbert looked much better suited at right back. Rodwell was surprisingly bad today but went about his business well when not missing passes. Hope everyone is sat down, Fellaini was OK and put in some effort first half Just went missing second half. Yobo is relishing his new found form, solid performance today.
  21. A strange link as he is hardly some 17 year old prolific striker with massive potential, he is 22 and plays for Gillingham. Never seen him play, will have to keep an eye out for him from now on...
  22. Jo cannot play as a lone striker, has very little confidence at the moment and no matter how you sugar coat it, is not banging in the goals like he was brought over to do. Like Romey said, I can't help but like the guy too he is at least trying to prove his worth and has a great attitude. If he stays parterned with Saha or Yak then maybe he will start getting more goals but he will be in the shadows of Saha & Yak this season (would love to be proved wrong Jo ).
