I didnt say he hasnt played, I said hasnt played a 'regular 90mins' which is different... Looking at his stats, in 2010/11 he started & finished 13 games, played between 60-80ish mins in 10 games and came on as a sub around the 60-75minute mark 20 times. In 2011/12 he started & finished 6 games, played between 60-80ish mins in 10 games and came on as a sub around the 60-75minute mark 22 times.
 
Considering the amount of games City have played in them two seasons (90+) then he certainly hasnt been a regular starter. I do admit he played more games in 2010/11 than I remember but he only 16 starts last season of which most of them he came off in after an hour. My real point is that City obviously dont view him as an important player for them and paying £10+mil for him is too much for sqaud player.
 
Although I wouldnt disagree with anyone who said he could go on to be an even better player than he is with a regular starting spot.

Rodwell has the potential to become a decent enough English international. If he wasn't a young English lad that has come through the Everton academy there's no way any of us on here would have called him a "potential world beater" or someone with the potential to become "one of the best centre mids in the world" based on what he's actually shown on a football pitch for this club. I'm sure we'll cope without him.
 
Baines is 27. He's got at least 6 more years in him. Also, Baines and Pienaar combining on the left are one of the aspects of our game that work incredibly well. I think I've said it before, but if we want a more balanced attack, we should strenghten our righthand side, not weaken our left.

80 appearances in 4 years for a 17-21 year old is hardly spending his whole career in the physio room...he's had one recurring injury after bein rushed back too soon..unbelievable how some people speak about him

He's a two footed player who has a great engine, strong in the air, solid in the tackle. Technically very very good. I really am worried that we are continuing to see our young talent leave.
 
He will realise his potential that I believe, unfortunately it wont be with us. Class midfielders nowadays are £30m plus, English too so yeah I'm dissapointed. I just want to know when will this sell to survive stop.

Id be very surprised. They took the title challenge to the last day by playing distinctively average football the whole season, no reason they'd not be contenders this season too...

He is a better option than Coleman on the right. Past his best though but at a low price id be alright with him as an option.

I mostly don't want him because of the whole wanting out thing. If my girl left me because she thought she was to good for me, and then realized she made a mistake I would prob give her a chance ala the loan period, and then cheat on her with someone younger, but Im a spiteful person.
In a nutshell let him rot on the Spurs bench. He left us. Since we appear to have money use it to pay compensation for Hoillett or something similar.
