  2. Percentage wise I wouldn't say it's inline with attacks per team. There's been far too many blatant offsides were the linesman and ref have been scared to rule out a goal for the sly six, especially in tight games. Looking at us, you think it would be fairer that Liverpool got a last minute winner against us even though Mane was offside? I agree refs should be more consistent, but that's always been a problem, again usually in favour of the six.
  3. Think the offside has been well better for it. Most those decisions would have been in favour of the greedy six without var.
  4. Dodgy from day one. Remember the Tory gov turned down other closer businesses with ventilators in stock for Dyson to make them instead.

Don't get why the media are so nice to him. Any other manager reacts like him and they'd be back page news every week.
  7. Should be a minimum of a ten point defection, 15 or even relegation. That's tended to be what teams going into administration get. Should be no different, if not more severe. Any less and the FA has let the other 86 clubs down.
  8. Bringing the game into disrepute. Bernardo Silva got a one match ban for making a joke with a teammate that could be deemed as offensive. What the snakey 6 has done has offended nearly every football fan.

Speaking with talkSPORT, Everton’s majority shareholder said: “Never, never [On whether Everton would join the European Super League if invited]. “Every facet of it is against the very idea of British football. Football clubs are community assets. They belong to fans and their communities. “This just takes the romance of football away. You want to see Liverpool and Everton play. It’s something which makes the game just a money game. It’s not football anymore. “I think the Premier League should deduct points from these clubs. This is six clubs attacking the very heart of the Premier League and I think they should be disciplined. That’s what I would do. They should have discussed it with the Premier League – they should have received a consensus. It’s a system that has worked for many years. The Champions League is the super league. “The Premier League need to discipline clubs. The Premier League has a constitution. They need to treat powerful clubs as severely as poorer clubs “I think football is about competition – when you watch West Brom beat Chelsea – this is football. Every club can outperform. On Saturday, 11 players against 11 players. A club like Leeds can go down and come back and draw with Liverpool, this is football. To deprive this competition, devalues the game.”
  11. Be great if the league had big enough bollocks and kicks them out and bans their owners from buying any other clubs. Apart from Man city none of them would be a great loss football wise, the other 5 wouldn't even be top 6 half the time it only for referees bias. The league would be more competitive and less corrupt without them. Let them create their own league and when it goes to pot force them to start from the bottom.
  12. Whoops . Was torn between him, Holgate and Davies as they're all due a goal. Arsenal 1-3 Everton Godfrey
  13. With the players available I wouldn't be surprised if we see the formation used against Liverpool were we kept shifting from 541 to 4411. Pickford Coleman Holgate Keane Godrey Digne Rodriguez(Coleman) Allan Davies Gomes (Rodriguez) Richarlison. Personally prefer us to go on the front foot with a straight 442. Pickford Coleman Holgate Godrey Digne Rodriguez Allan Davies Iwobi King Richarlison
  14. Rodriguez, Doucoure, Allan, and Digne easily outweigh the bad but Brands and Ancelotti could have done more. Squad wise you tend to have two for every position plus an extra centre mid, striker, and either a creative player or centre back. Yet we started the season with no back up right back, left back, or right mid (technically did have a right mid but let him go leaving us short). Also could have done with an experienced centre half and striker too (although the latter has been addressed in the January). This is the main reason we've seen Godfrey and Holgate playing full back for a fair few games and even had Coleman cameo as a right mid. That's on Brands and Ancelotti. Naming Gbamin in the 25 squad, who was never gonna be fit, over Bolasie and Besic was a poor decision. Letting Walcott go was baffling with no other right sided winger. One of Gomes or Sigurdsson should have been moved on and replaced with a player more suited to Ancelotti's tactics. Personally I would have opted to transfer Bernard whilst he still had some value and had Bolasie around as third choice for a year.
  15. Reading through the lines we only signed Godfrey this season as Holgate got injured. Wouldn't be surprised if we already had a deal in place for Aarons first then swapped up Godfrey. Shouldn't be too much negotiation, more down to the player if the likes of Bayern come in.
  16. Absolute fluff piece. Keita cost £50m and barely gets a game yet they use Solanke as the example that didn't work out but then point out they still made a profit.
  17. He's a great example of why moneyball doesn't work in football.
  18. You're right it goes through his legs. Really don't see what the keeper has done wrong. Only way he stops it is of he gambles and drops a knee early to block getting nutmegged, but then everyone would be fuming if he got chipped.
