  1. Didn't put a foot forward being reactive rather than proactive. Barely broke a sweat, just moseyed around the midfield and played the odd Hollywood ball. His decision making was especially shocking. How many times did he carry the ball forward rather than just pass responsibility to someone else?
  2. Richarlison was an absolute waste of space. Mee and Tarkowski will be laughing that he's meant to be a Brazilian number 9. Probs not laughing as much as Dyche though, had our pants down on Michael Keane. Gomes must have been watching Sigurdsson too much. Fucking pathetic. Poor decisions, slow at everything. Allan next to him at least has the exist of coming back from an injury. Digne was very poor. Gonna give him the benefit of doubt and assume he's playing with an injury as his range of motion doesn't seem right, I'd go as far to put money on it being a groin issue. DCL poor but tried. Just a bad day in the office Davies caught out for the first but made it up with the assist, and should have had two. Main player driving us forward in the second half, no idea why he was subbed. Iwobi, better but not great.
  3. Last 2 games Allan and Gomes have been just as bad as the old shit show of Schneiderlin and Gana. Davies was probably our best player in the second half. No idea how Ancelotti leaves Gomes on.
  4. Chelsea dropped 2 points today. Ball is now in our court for top 4. Win our games in hand and then match then until the end of the season. Simple enough...
  5. In Davies’ case, he’s showed good character to come back as I thought he was sabotaged by some senior players who are no longer at the club. By “sabotaged”, I mean they’d give him the ball in bad positions knowing he’d probably lose it rather than take the risk of getting stick themselves. When I came through all the old pros helped me, even in bad times, but Davies was treated harshly by some older team-mates. It’s something I’ve seen happen to lots of players – people going through a bad time don’t want to take responsibility and so would rather pass the ball to somebody else, even if they’re marked, as at least that takes the pressure off themselves. With Davies, it was “give it the kid and let him mess it up”. He was a positive and they turned him into a negative but now, thankfully, he’s back to where he was.
  6. It's not a race though. Gomes is already goalside. All he has to do is stay goalside. He might eventually get beaten but by then the other players will be better positioned. He's too deep (thanks to the three wombles at the back) to just tuck inside. He's playing piggy in the middle with 20 yards of space to cover. He's not got a chance. If the back three were further up the pitch he'd have more of a chance but there's just far too much space for Chelsea to use.
  7. That's fair enough given the situation. With my mates mate, he's a DJ so been out of work most of the year and just needed a 'normal' job to help get him by. Worse thing is they knew his situation.
  8. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/football/2020/feb/11/italian-referee-banned-from-football-for-one-year-after-headbutting-goalkeeper In Italy the ref got a full year ban. Pardew got 7 as a manager. For me a referee should be held at a higher account than a manager as they have less emotion invested. Watching the clip he's far too hotheaded. The striker is no where near as abusive as claimed because before he can even fully moan the ref is fronting him. Just didn't like getting his authority questioned and if he can't handle that he should be a referee.
  9. Disgraceful isn't it. Businesses are taking the piss exploiting people. Lad I was talking to was saying his bonus has been indefinitely delayed or possibly cancelled. He was meant to get it this month and the company sent a vague email yesterday. He works in construction and the sales/profits are up thanks to the current tax breaks so they've all been expecting it but the company have said with these 'uncertain times' they aren't going to pay it this month and was vague whether they'll get it at all. For extra pisstakingness the email is signed off with a big smiling picture of the multimillionaire owner.

  11. Friend of a friend went for an interview and they asked him what is the least he's willing to be paid. He flipped it and asked what they were willing to pay. At that point they just ended the interview.

Other way round and the ban would have been a lot more severe.

  14. Don't see how you can only say maybe. Gomes has moved forward two yards as CHO goes to the wing. Had the back 3 stepped forward they'd have been more of a chance. Without them stepping up Iwobi has an impossible job of cutting it off and Holgate is never gonna be able to get back quick enough.

Remember watching him for Chelsea and him being class. Unfortunately the golden oldies of him, Gazza and Ginola all stole a wage here.
  17. I've never seen Tom Davies play as poorly as Allan and Gomes did against Chelsea. The lad would probably have nails through his hands if he did. No idea why he's held to such a higher account.
  18. Bayern keep buying the best players from the club's below them so they are always safe at the top but at the detriment of the rest of the league. Add to that Chelsea have raided Leverkusen and Redbull for their best players this season. Plus mid table clubs over there are used by our bottom half teams like Burnley, Leeds, and Brighton. Apart from Bayern the other clubs only tend to sign older players who's contracts are expiring or flopps going on the cheap. More recently they're going after our young players so they can develop and flip them back. Edit: looking at RBL alone their side has three players failed in the prem. Goalie couldn't get a sniff in at Liverpool, Angelino couldn't get a game for city and Sorloth the giant striker couldn't get in the palace side. Their best player is also going Bayern at the end of the season.
  19. My fault I didn't put every frame to show it. Gomes gets goal side initially (which allows Holgate to retreat). However he then steps up and across to cut off CHO from going inside, but CHO goes the other way leaving Gomes running in a circle. If he holds his position and stays goal side he stops us from being exposed.
  20. Gomes doesn't stay goal side. He stupidly tries to cut off a pass across field and is left for dead. Gomes not staying goal side is the whole issue. Holgate is getting back but he can't predict how shite Gomes is gonna be at defending. He's also not helped by the backline not pushing up.
  21. Holgate? He's slow getting back but the other three should have stepped forward. Gomes is the appalling one.
