  1. So he's meant to break formation and go mark a player 20 yards further up who hasn't even received the ball? Give up? You need to start again if you think Keane is fine too leave a man in the box, and last week Gomes not staying goalside. These are basics.
  2. Apologies, my previous post mustn't have sent. I am certain I wrote off the top of my head man u. The point still stands though. I didn't say no other game than man u. You gonna apologise for twisting it?
  3. He's better than the utter dogshit he was when he first came, but my nan could have done a better job than he did his first season. Now he's average at best. Better than them? Our biggest game this season just happens to be the one he was dropped for. Were did I say that? I said off the top of my head. Gonna apologise for being manipulative and trying to twist it?
  4. As much as he missed two chances he made two. Richarlison the far bigger let down. Give DCL his chances and he would have scored.
  5. Already said both Man u games. Says a lot when you're pointing out goals as things a centre half has done well. What matches has he done more than what you'd expect from any average centre half?
  6. The other players were clearly not happy with him taking it. Played like a selfish brat all game. Must have had a message under his shirt.
  7. Because he's being marked. As soon as Keane moves he makes him the most dangerous and hands them the goal on a plate. 1. Davies. No, he's in a bank of 4 with the rest of the midfield and goes to close when necessary. Any fan blaming him either knows nothing about football or is a shit fan who blames him for everything. 2. Yea, and they'd be getting moaned at if Zaha had any influence in the goal. But he never. 3. That's on Gbamin for not seeing the run and cutting the passing lane. Still very unlikely to concede from that position with Mina closing down. 4. How's the keeper meant to know what way to go with such little time to react? He has to gamble. You're blaming the keeper for not saving a one on one blast from 10 yards away? The first two don't impact at all. Keane reacts to the third one but he shouldn't. He should have left it to Mina. The amount of points he's lost us is the difference between champions League football or not.
  8. Find it mad you're trying so hard to justify it. He doesn't mark the space. He goes to the ball. To even say he goes to block that pass raises even more questions. On what planet is the best option to block a pass further away from goal leaving a player unmarked in the box the right thing to do? Then again you thought Gomes weren't too blame last week when he didn't stay goal side. Keane's this week is just as bad. It's stuff you'd shout at a school boy level, yet we've got blokes getting paid a £100k a go week doing shit you wouldn't see in a Sunday league.
  9. Should be knocking on the managers door not getting on with the other two missing 5 sitters between them.
  10. Not at all. He had one player to mark in his own box. No excuse for him being rash and going to the player Mina was. Keane isn't reacting to Zaha, he heads straight to schlupp.
  11. Batshuayi is Keane's man. It is much safer to let schlupp striker from outside the box than leave a striker completely unmarked in the box and even worse create the space for the pass to him. If Mina wasn't there Keane would have a decision to make. But he is there. Absolutely no reason for Keane to budge. Zaha should have been picked up by Sigurdsson or Godfrey and if that resulted in the goal I'd be blaming them. Who would cover if Mina gets rounded? Are you having a laugh? You think centre backs should just cover each other and risk leaving a player completely free in the box?
  12. He completely abandons the goal scorer, the player he's meant to be marking. If he doesn't know Mina is going the ball that's another negative against him. Keep marking your own man and if in doubt give your teammate a shout.
  13. Two banks of four. Mina could do with being a yard forward and Richarlison is scrambling back into position, Sigurdsson slotting in for Godfrey. Not much wrong. Bit of miscommunication between Godfrey and Sig for which one to follow their number 11. Gbamin doesn't react quick enough to stop the pass. Palace striker has swapped from Mina to Holgate, which helped us as it freed Mina to go to the ball. Michael Keane, not for the first time, has completely marauded out of position, leaving his man free and 100% at fault for the goal.
  14. Moyes tends to get a good first six months out of players with a point to prove. For every Arteta there's a Jelavic though.
  15. Just seen the goal again and it's not even amateur level. Holgate and Mina both get torn apart for much less. He done similar twice earlier in the game as well. If we make the top four I reckon he'll be the first player out the door. Good thing for him he's doing his best to make sure that doesn't happen. Fucking joke of defender.
  16. That first header should have been buried. The ball was perfect to the point all he had to do was keep his eyes on it but he ducks under it. It's amazing how many headed goals he has as he's one of the worse headerers (if that's a word) we've ever had up top. He helped waste the first chance too were his run is equally as bad as Gomes' decision to pass to him. I accept you won't score every chance but for me it should be 1 in 3. He's had 6 very good chances today and in general he's been missing sitters all season, far more than anyone else. He huffs and puffs until he's red in the face but a large amount is wasted due to his lack of football intelligence, poor runs and snapping at his shots.
  17. You'll get that effort from any fan, and any fan could have bagged at least one of those chances. Free kick needs addressing too.
  18. Michael Keane was just as bad. Palace's best attacker today, Richi their best defender. Piss poor second half from Ancelotti as well. Taking Coleman off leaving Keane on, then inviting the pressure by taking James off. Piss take leaving Richarlison on as well.
  19. You can't be a Christian and a Tory. When Jesus fed the 5000 he weren't on about creating a need for food banks.
  20. Literally. Goodison Park is an old building, and the sections in the two stands that needed to be repaired or replaced are over 50 years old. There were exposed tiles on the ceiling which posed a safety hazard as they started to deteriorate. While unlikely, it was possible that sections of concrete tile could fall from the roof onto fans sitting below. https://www.hsroofclad.com/projects/everton
  21. Myers said he'd come back to Everton so don't think Kenwright was the issue. Don't get what your point is with the middle bit. The end isn't poor ownership, it's the owner not being rich enough to keep up. Can't blame someone for not being a billionaire. He also took the time to find the right one to sell to.
