  1. Henderson Don't see why Carrick and Defoe are in there, as I can't see them having an England career in 2 years time.
  2. Conor McAleny ‏@CMcAleny Not what I had planned for today. This is me now for a few weeks! http://desmond.yfrog.com/Himg620/scaled.php?tn=0&server=620&filename=4wdwe.jpg&xsize=640&ysize=640
  3. Just seen this on Twitter http://mashable.com/2012/08/09/snagfilms/ A write up about http://www.snagfilms.com/ offering movies a chance to be seen. 3200 so far.
  4. I didn't know about hentai until I went in to uni saying how good an anime is (my Korean friend had put it on in halls the night before) and got a few funny looks because they thought I was on about that stuff, with one of the girls saying she doesn't like it. I thought they were taking the piss when they explained it to me. Edit: Give Death Note or Code Geass a try, they're just as good as stuff like Dexter.
  5. Nope, like anime (OnePiece, Death Note, and Code Geass are 3 of the best, if you're bored waiting for the footy they'll keep you busy) need to know what to avoid, had to google what type it was, just know to avoid ecchi, yaoi, and yuri. Stuffs on 4chan as well.
  6. If you look at the buttons it reads as YAOU, which looks very similar to the word yaoi. From wiki Yaoi also known as Boys' Love, is a Japanese popular termfor female-oriented fictional media that focus on homoerotic orhomoromantic male relationships, usually created by female authors.
  7. Gives privileged kids something to try for at the olympics. Think jousting and polo (to keep the posh kids happy) would be better fitting for the olympics, and save the dressage ect. for the horses version of Crufts.
  8. Once the pad becomes worn, so the U starts looking more like an I. There will be some blue faces Ouya.
  9. Gets annoying how they continue to say Everton punch above their weight. The top 3 teams all have a former Everton player in their starting eleven (Lescott, Rooney, Arteta). We still have Fellaini, Osman, Baines, Heitinga, and Jags who wouldn't look out of place in any of those teams. We also have 3 ex-united players and 2 of the most promising youth players in the league. Although it's a vague assessment, at least this one acknowledges us as challenging for top 6, unlike some others who every year knock us below Liverpool, Spurs, and sometimes even Villa. The key player is a bit silly as it's a team sport and not many build their game around one player. Even Arsenal who were banded as a one-man team looked more lost without Arteta than if RVP missed a game. Likewise Man U without Vidic really struggled, or Liverpool without Lucas (although they do centre round Gerrard so are a one man team in that sense, with Fulham/Dempsey being the only other I'd consider). They should say best player, or do a more in-depth analyse of key attributes.

Congrats to Tony! However the second half was a bit dire, typical pre-season stuff but still disappointing. We will up our game for Man U in 12 days though .

Unsure, he hit it hard and low and we haven't give them a goal back, so in my head it was his own doing. Gueye has had a couple of chances, unlucky with the volley.

Ten will be dancing when he reads that. FK was on the left next to the D. Hit it under the wall and in the keeper's near post. Looked very emotional after it

Tony Hibbert free kick! Slightly marred by riot/the pitch invasion.

Can't help but think Fellaini is wasted in the advanced position, looks a little lost and sloppy, although our Iniesta-esque Osman is shining in the middle. Naismith looks bright, first competent right mid since....Kanchelskis? Everyone else playing fine, although Pip done one of them floaty things

I cheated, I was already about to post the first bit and we scored. Had to edit as a forgot to put the details in.

Fellaini behind the striker, Naismith right wing, and Osman in the middle . Naismith doing very well 2-1. Naismith tapped in header from a Pienaar cross after a 1-2 with Baines, standard Everton.
  19. Ouch! A German weightlifter dropped 30 stone on his head. http://mashable.com/2012/08/08/watch-and-wince-at-weightlifter-dropping-432lbs-on-his-head/
  20. Good Time Max, bit of an indy flick, one for Franco fans or people with addicts in their family. The music is really good though
  21. I thought he'd end up back at Fulham. He's got a good header Alladyce will love him.
  22. Some one will get the sack for that. Man City are pretty strict when it comes to stuff like this. The pessimist in me when it comes to Everton and transfers assumes this is a wind up and the photo was taken the last time we played them. (Trying to cry it in )
  23. They done well at the end of last season, but it makes me uneasy as well. (Moyes don't play Jags-Distin ) Agree with you on Jela, I'm 60/40 on how his season will go, but hoping for him to finally break the 20 goal land mark for us as it has been far too long. Most of his finishes are one touch so that's leaning me towards him coping well. The main thing I'm resting our season on is the kids, we don't have a big squad, but looking at the teams above us you need the competition to pull you higher. I think they're capable if the confidence is there, but they may struggle with consistency. Agree on Junior, from the small bits I've seen does look like a red card waiting to happen (maybe a nice 7/2 in-play bet to soften the blow). Fellaini scared this will be his last season if we don't qualify for the Champs league, which may be the little extra motivation the team needs. Think the league will have the top 3, the mini league of 4-6 (7 if a freak team), then the rest (but with its group of un-relegatable teams Stoke, Liverpool, and Villa splattered about).
  24. Mumford and Sons - I Will Wait. More of the same really.
  25. You should try some of them , 9th? I struggle to see, who other than the 6 above us (excluding Newcastle), can finish above Everton this season.
