    Sports quiz.

    8. Graham Onions 9. Stuart Board
  2. I think he's been too professional and kept his head down too long, it's time he started shouting for place. I think Moyes is trying to make him and Johnny more hungry and mould them as Everton players, that or he's doing the school pe teacher and jus picking the noisy kids. Unfortunately there's very little you can do to improve your pace. Over a 100m someone 2 stone over weight could train and still only be a second quicker. It's all about your fast-twitch muscles which you can train to improve slightly but not much, they're natural.
  3. Onouha's probably better at centre half but he can do a better job than Johnson at Rb-not that he sets the bar very high-I was jus throwing his name in the hat. I used to laugh at Wes Brown as well, but along with Neville he completely shut out Bale last season and he's been great since he's been playing regular this season as well, but as you say there's still better options out there like.
  4. I like him at RB when he was fresh on the scene and raw, but sadly hasn't lived up to the potential. Too cocky and lazy, never seen a centre-half lose so many 50-50s or not even attempt to put a foot in some cases maybe a half-arse swing of the boot. He reminds me of the kid who'd go home if it starting raining and take the ball with him. Onouha would be much more deserving.

    Sports quiz.

This is quite easy and I know I should be getting more right, some shocking guesses from me. 1. Which famous footballer left Tottenham in 1992 to join Japanese side Grampus Eight. Lineker 2. On a football pitch, how many yards should the penalty spot be from the goal line? 12 3. In what year was the first World Cup held? 1954 4. What was the number on the back of the jersey that both Maradona and Pele said was lucky? 10 5. Who managed the first English side to win the European Cup? Paisley 6. Which English football team are nicknamed the "Hornets"? Watford 7. Which is the only country to have played in every World Cup since it started in 1930? Uruguay 8. The book "Macca Can" was about which ex-Liverpool footballer? McAteer probs written by Ruddock aha (this is a complete guess but them 2 on soccer am is worth a look) 9. Which European football club is nicknamed "La Vicchia Signora", which translates as "the old lady"? Juventus 10. Who is Edson Arantes do Nascimento better known as? Pele 11. Which team plays soccer at Rugby Park? Stevenage 12. Who was the first professional soccer player to be knighted? Bobby Robson 13. Which soccer team takes its name from a Walter Scott Novel? Port Vale 14. Which was the first British Soccer team to win the European Cup? Celtic 15. What is Britain?s northernmost first class soccer club? Carlisle Aberdeen
  7. I don't think Bent's actually that good, he only scores goals in teams built around him. He looked useless against us and more so against Spain, you'd be mad to waste a squad with as much talent as England has, to accommodate him. As you say its more important to find a player to complement Rooney
  8. Like the set up, but Walker at RB, Hibbo should have a shout before Richards. Downing, Young and Johnson depending on form. Keeper wise who ever is on form as well. Lampard reserved for big games with Wilshire pushed out wide. No place for Terry, Rio, or Gerrard.
  9. After a certain percentage (49% I think) you have to offer to buy the remaining 51% of shares. Arsenal had been in the news quite a bit concerning shareholders http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/11042011/58/premier-league-kroenke-launches-arsenal-takeover.html
  10. I thought that at first but surely Smalling would be chosen first.
  11. I want to know how Jones has gone from 4th choice U21 centre back to make shift midfielder for the fulll team where we have an abundance of better players. Walcott can run but not much else, same goes for Glenn Johnson. Lampard has a good game once again when Gerrard doesnt play, but he'll be straight back in to fuck the balance up when he's fit. England team's a joke.
  12. Maybe city will be watching and we can trick them in to swapping Kompany for Lescotts benefit
  13. Why would you like him to be England manager? His best attribute is dodgy deals.
  14. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11675/7305356/Redknapp-facing-court-date About time, hows it took them 7 years to prove something everyones knows
  15. "They CHOOSE to pay 70-90% of their income on players (rather than reduce ticket prices)" More like forced to pay or lose the players, because of other teams willingness to pay. Hence, Arteta getting 70k and Anichebe 30k, thanks to City and Hull. I'm sure most clubs would rather pay their players less and pass the savings on to their fans.
  16. When you've watched over an hour of a film and then feel committed to finish watching it even though it's poo.
  17. <p> Not quite lol. Don't like the lay out of that forum. I'm more of a youtube how to do stuff
  18. Looks a bit of a closet gay site. The 3rd hottest thread is 'Im straight'
  19. I don't get to see the blues us much as i'd like but am one of them weirdo's still. Used to watch Man city kids when I lived by Platt fields, even went to a utd liverpool reserve match once.
  20. I'd like to believe Evertonians tend to buck the trend with the wiki fans. I only know one blue who'd never been the match before(quickly rectified) and knew little about the club.
  21. If Bily played every week in his natural position, 10 goals and 10 assists wouldn't be too far out of his grasp.
  22. Chelsea at home, left it late and made it hard on ourselves but you always knew we were gonna win that day - albeit a deflated Chelsea side, last game of the season with nothing to play for.
  23. Theres a hell of a lot less shouting between the 2, sometimes I think Jags gets to carried away trying to lead the back four and it has a negative effect. Howard needs to step up and keep the back four more organised.
