Howard Hibbert Heitinga Distin Baines Drenthe Rodwell Barkley Osman Bily Saha I'd like to see this with Rodwell staying back with the rest of the midfield interchanging, and Heitinga the only player allowed to 'hoof' it forward as when he does it it's actually a pass to one of our players. Pretty confident that won't be the team but we'll win any way. 1-3 a clean sheet would be nice though

I've been watching, jus not going. He played no differently year to year league goals (off wiki; so not 100% reliable) 28/2 28/2 30/4 18/1. Thats a consistent terrible record.

Both Baines and Hibbert seemed reluctant to get forward against utd. Bily/Osman often looked to play the ball forward and Baines was waiting back for it.

Am not saying we have players who can do all that(maybe Drenthe) but what we have offer more than Pienaar.
