    I'm thankful for what he did but we needed to freshen things up.
     
    I'll never forgive him though for the FA Cup rollover semi-final against Liverpool. Still gives me nightmares.

    No I wouldn't.
     
    I hated that attitude of "my first job is to get to 40 points"
     
    I do appreciate the job that he did here but we needed a change to get us to the next level.
     
    We aren't relegation fodder any more.

    Distins pace has got us out of trouble so many times. Can't afford to lose that especially if we are playing 3 at the back next year.

    We did the same with Lescott and either got money off/or better payment terms.
     
    Might not be a problem and we may end up with a better deal.
     
    Don't panic just yet but I'm pleased there is some proper due diligence.
