I agree that 777 are showing commitment - and I generally have a glass half full view of new potential new owners.
But them putting the money in monthly must be part of this 'exclusivity' deal they have for buying it - the 'deal' was agreed back in September. By the sounds of it the reason the deal has not yet been ratified and then signed sealed and delivered is that 777 have not demonstated they have enough money available just yet to meet the rules of buying a PL club (fortunately rule which are there to protect us in the short term) - ball is in 777's court to sort there end out.
If 777 Partners couldn't find the money (to meet what I would think is contractually there obligation at the moment), then who's to say Moshiri would not have covered operating costs (if the 777 deal essencially collapses) - otherwise the administrators come it and a lot of people lose a lot a money - which is not going to happen based on all the things I have read. I am no Moshiri fan, but it's a little much calling him out and saying he would rather see his employees go without wages and their families suffer.
The fact this is all taking so long is purely 777's fault, for not having adequate funding in place to commit the best part of a £1Billion to buy a PL football club of Evertons size.

Been abroad for the weekend but did catch the Brentford game. Just watched Dyche's interview and he looked so chuffed with the 3 wins in the last week and that we have clinched survival. Seems to me he cares a lot about our club.

    Absolutely.
Over the past several years, it's been common place on here to question the players, they don't care, they aren't playing for the club etc etc. I reckon most of us have made the call.
All we wanted was for the players to show fight, dig in and give us 'something'.
OK. It took a slap around the bonce to get it across. But we got the results. HR can deal with the rest....

If a team loses three or four positions in the table due to PSR, lets say lost out on £10M. Can you offset that in this year's accounts?
Or will the PL make the argurement that Everton should have forseen that PL are a bunch of corrupt fuckers!

sounds to me like Dyche dished out some home truth that everybodies got to get are shit together, pull together and roll up sleeves to get this job done themselves. No magic wand coming.
Fair do's to his management of them and fair do's to the players for rolling those sleevs up. 4 wins in 5 is good going when your under the kosh.

To be fair to Dyche, since August/Sept he has always asked the seasons body of work to be judged as a whole. Not to get carried away at the highs or to down about the lows. All outside influences aside we have been a solid a mid table club this year.

This is a bit like a parent say to a child you can be whatever you want to be - 'just dream big and it will happen'. It pretty much ignores the reality of the ability you really have or situation you are currently in. The dream is there to work towards, but lots of bulding steps have to be take to acheive it. This club is currently at the bottom step.
I don't think you will find one fan who 'enjoyed' this season or beleives just surviving relegation is a staple we should be satified with as medium to long term objective. However, there is nothing at all wrong in most fans celebrate and enjoying acheiving safety from relegation when you are in a relegation battle. It's simply living the moment.
Immediate 'success' is purely a function of the current situation you find yourself in. Having come off the back of two relegation battles, a points deduction and financial wows with regard to the playing squad, then not having to go to the last couple of games is 'relative success' when compare to relegation.
This week some fans are simply making the most of winning what has turned out to be this seasons battle, but nobody 'accepts' that any sort of war is won.
I can actually be a relatively happy fan rather than a miserable one for a few weeks at least .  People are simply enjoying the relative success of the moment we are in. I don't feel any guilt as a fan for making the most of small victories as and when they come along, or trying to taking positives where I can. Fans who make the most of a bad situation shouldn't be made out to be some sort of 'problem' or are somehow lesser fan.
Your and Haf's MO is to somehow look down on other fans who try and enjoy these fleating moments of relative success, implying some element of blame. Life's simply to short not to enjoy the little moments!!!

I really can't see that at all - some of are parts are worth less than whole for which they are going to pay for.
Our value is in the fact we have been the worst run club in the Premiership, when traditionally/historical we are argubley the 4-5 most decorated club in the land. Real value is making this great club relavent again.
For all their other shortcoming I feel this is what 777 Partners truly see in us.
Nobody would argue that we have been very badly run, so masses of room to improve this.

thats one big thing going in the favour - they really really want to own us. They must really see considerable value in us and have a plan to get our revenue streams up and us operating more like a business. I have no doubt we would get the full attention of their very top sports business people. I am a big beleiver in having the rigth proffessional people in charge, we are living proof of what happens with the wrong people make the grown up desisions. I think it's as, if not more, important than simply money.
Once the stadium is built then the 'big investment' has been done. We all know owners can't simply bank roll a club nowerdays, the smart owners are those who are going to get maximum revenue from the Everton brand. Its forward thinking smart sports business people that are going to make the difference.
Do 777 Partners have these?, or willing to employ them? - that's what remains to be seen, there definately not coming in to throw cash at it.

It has the feeling of man buys a much loved vintage car that needed TLC and restoring..... he wastes a load of money on sound systems and fluffy dice and now it needs a new engine and he's trying to flog it for parts.  Meanwhile there are probably some enthusiasts who will offer a fair price but no..... Moshiri is considering "we buy any car"

Moshiri has wasted far too much time on these.
Yet another bad decision on his part.

some not so great stories doing the rounds today about 777

Never know what to make of these stories -
I think the 777 Partners might actually make a good management structure at the very top of the club, with novel ways to increase revenues - which will be ever more important give type of wage ceiling may be introduced based on revenue.
However, financially, they really sound like they could be overstretched.
I have read about this 'period of exclusivity' but surly this exclusivity is meaningless if they can's stump up the cash needed to buy.

did anybody see the Overlap - Carragher said the Forst owner actually wanted to send the Tweet out at half time, so after the first two inccident. That's why we saw it almost as soon as the final whistle had been blow.
There's been a lot of condemnation about them doing it after the game. A hell would have broke lose if it happened during a game. Trying to influence officials mid game - now that's worthy of point deductions itself.
    The owners a loon.

The Independent Key Match Incidents Panel found that only 1 of the three penalty incidents was incorrect - the third one.
