    Living in spitting distance of Arsenal, most of their fans would say that Wenger is shit at buying players, he has an aversion to spending money. Great coach, terrible shopper.

    Fair enough, I agree he is not a Mata but I think he will do very well for us.

    I think he will be a quality signing, played very well for Lille, recommended by Walsh and by all accounts Koeman has been trailing him for a while. Looking at his stats, which are not everything he compares very well with other players.

    Stones will be a quality CB, possibly one of the best. But he didn't play that big a role for us last season. We will miss what he could have become, of which we saw glimpses. We must sign a quality replacement and as long as we do that, with the youngsters we have along with Jags and Mori we will be fine.

    I thought he looked good, he covered allot of ground made tackles and interceptions, remember he still needs to get match fit.
