He is never going to be the type of player that mix the physically in the league up front on his own as he is being asked. He either needs to play alongside someone or we need to play him in behind and down channels a lot more. He seems technically very good but some of his first touches are Rom esque

Which suits how they play, pressing high up the pitch. They aren't being asked to go box to box and when they are, they are a lot more mobile and with a striker who can bring them into play.

He is pointing his toe down, its just that when your leg is at that angle thats what pointing your toe down looks like (well it does for me). If you went for a traditional studs up challenge, his toes would be pointing in the air. He is trying to toe the ball ahead of the keeper. Thats how you can tell he didnt mean in because if he wanted to hurt him he would have gone with a stamping action and his toes would have been in the air. I presume you have played footy so you should know what I mean. Stills will always make it look bad and as I can said I can see why he was sent off, but at the same time, its one of these where he hasn't meant it, but he has got there late and I have sympathy for those challenges (probably because I am generally late into a challenge!).

Definitely, but that doesn't mean he was or wasn't at fault. As a keeper you read the ball off the foot, their body position etc. Kane himself didn't mean to do it, its a complete mishit, but still struck with pace and its just happened to loop over him. He was in a good position before the ball was hit, he did what he could to try and make the save but he couldnt get there. Apart from being stuck on his line, I dont think he would have saved it, nor any other keeper for that matter.

If we were trying to focus on how to stop them we didnt do a very good job. They ran rings round us! I said the second bit last season, I dont know what he is trying to achieve. First 10 mins we seemed to be engaging them high up the pitch but after we settled down, we sat back and from there on there was only one team going to win the game.

Its just really poor planning and because of their reputations or the amount we have paid, he is under pressure to squeeze them all into the same side even if its to the detriment of the side. I would go back to the three of Davies and Gueye ahead of Schneiderlin. Get Jags in alongside Williams (who really doesnt look comfortable in a 2) and get Holgate into the 11, with Kenny as back up as Martina can go fuck himself for the rest of the season. DCL needs to be starting every game and then its a toss up for the other 2 positions. I would probably go Sigurddsson on one side and then given his pace, I would probably get Vlasic involved. Rooney / Klaasen just dont fit into our best side IMO, given how Koeman seems to want to play. I think the latter will get there but he looks positionless at the moment whilst he settles in. I think he needs to be playing deeper.

Baines or Pickford, went for the latter. I actually thought Siggy improved as the game went on. Appears wasted wide but we have a squad of players who want to play behind the striker so he doesn't seem to have much choice.
