And they never seem to do the job they say they will. Been doing the kitchen, bathroom and hallway up and only one of the many workmen did their job properly from start to finish. Delivery bloke dented the fridge, bathroom fitter didn't support it properly, floored left it uneven, boiler fitter left a hole in the wall and the painter ripped the vinyl and painted my coat and now isn't returning my calls! I would do this stuff myself but I don't know which end of the hammer to hold so it's probably best I don't!

It seems mad because we have done quite a lot of business this window, but I feel we are desperate for a couple of new fresh faces. We need an injection of pace and energy. I hope we pull something out of nowhere as I'm not really convinced that the majority of players linked are anything better than we have.

I think it will take more than VVD to sort out their defence but they are both a big step forward.

I'm just going to fulfil your prophesy here but I also said it at the time before Koeman was our man. Soton should have finished higher that year. It was the worst PL year in history, almost every established PL side bar Spurs were shite and they ran on at the finish. Great achievement with the amount of points they had but it could have been so much more for them. It makes our season even more galling. Thats a discussion for another time though, or at least another thread.

I don't see why the govt should be poking their noses into the areas they are talking about with this regulation. If businesses want to spend x million on a chief executive who does sweet fa then that's their prerogative. I don't see them intervening in football clubs. I think there should be more for big business but the less red tape for small businesses can only be a good thing overall. I can't help it I'm a capitalist (who was severely hampered by red tape when trying to start up a business!).

Haha that's some comparison. I class Gana as box to box, they both seem to cover a lot of ground. Keita is better offensively but not as good defensively IMO. I think he is a good fit, it's just whether he takes to the league.
