Again I don't get this shit on the club mentality, because if Barkley wasn't good enough and they wanted rid, they would be the first to push him out of the door. Like I said before, how can people be happy with the Niasse situation and then have a pop at Barkley.
Footballers earn the right to do exactly what they like because they sign a contract for x amount of years for x amount for money. It's a short but very lucrative career and they get to decide their future.
If we were broke, like we were back in the Rooney days, then yeh you could argue that Ross could have thought about trying to help his local club out, but if it were that situation then the club would probably be trying to force him out the door anyway. We don't need the money, what we actually need is someone of Ross' ability on the pitch to help us win points. If he stays until next summer and gives his all then that's great, and I will wish him all the best.
Going back to Moshiri, the guy clearly likes bending the truth. He did it last summer and he has done it this summer. They aren't massive lies, it's almost silly 'my dad is bigger than your dad' mentality.
