    Because on the pitch at least, Naismith is our captain. What he lacks in creativity, he makes up for with passion. Right now, we need passion.

    Are we allowed a both option? If decent replacements were already lined up, i'd cash in and get 2-3 decent wingers. Realistically, I love having McCarthy at everton, but we have other options in CM. Unless we find replacements for ossie and peanuts soon, we are in deep trouble.

    If you click on your name in the top right of the screen there is a section that says manage/ignore prefs. From there you can block out all their rubbish and all will be right with your world.

    The dressing room is quite clearly lost. There is no coming back from that and the board will have to address it sooner rather than later or face the inevitable exodus that will follow. If you think our play is scary now.....Imagine it without mirallas/coleman/stones in the squad.

    Can see that being a major headache for roberto. Who do you drop? The only solution i can see is 4 - 3 - 3 with lukaku on the right of naisy and mirallas. Also, that is a bit harsh. Only jags and howard have been piss poor.

    On current merit.... Naisy without a shadow of doubt, a leader on and off the field, but unfortunately not an automatic pick when barkley is fit. McCarthy or Stones are the obvious future picks.

    Judging by pre season and the first couple of games im starting to think CB is now a priority. Jags n distin are looking very shakey.

    Bit naff. Appeared to be playing some kind of 3-6-1 formation. Garbutt, lundstram and long all looked promising. Roebles, duffy, McAleny all looked out of their depth. Gibbo just looked drunk.

    Duffy proving to be a liability as well. sadly i just don't think he has enough to cut it at the highest level.
