  1. F*** him and Klassen, take the centre back Sanchez looks like he's got real potential.
  2. I had a look before and someone thought to be credible had started a topic saying "Rooney to wear number 9" on Saturday. Hasn't posted since though but I believe he's got a good reputation.
  3. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11671/10889987/qpr-reject-everton-offer-for-teenager-josh-bowler
  4. Seems they've just re-reported that the mirror have reported it Bill. Unless I can't find the article.
  5. The Mirror reporting we've agreed a £25m seal for him. Edit: Also, was listening to Talksport just then and they seem to believe he's on £80k per week at Swansea!
  6. Top 6/7 got stronger. They're better teams and taking more points from the lower teams. There's no "top 4" anymore.
  7. The squad needs improving but to add 9 or 10 like people are suggesting is ludicrous. If we change the squad around that much we will effect its harmony. The players that we currently have play half decent together and understand one another's game. Only 4 teams managed to keep more clean sheets than us this season. To bring in a whole new back line would be utter stupidity. We need several players. But not 9 first teamers.
  8. "Sky sources understand Arsenal are in talks to sign Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru from Belgian side KAS Eupen. The forward, who has been linked with Everton, Southampton, Celtic and several other British clubs, has a £6.8m release clause. " Typical shit house scouting by Arsenal, just copy our transfer targets time after time. Hope this one bites them in the arse like it did with Perez.
  9. I can't see it myself. He's started most of our games this season and been offered a contract which is rumoured to be a good one (if the reports of 90/100k per week are true) Maybe it's the club not being bullied into offering stupid deals, similar to the rom contract Fiasco. Maybe the club want the better deal and agents and players are refusing them. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Koeman believes Ross is the be all and end all, but why would he be offered a contract at all if he doesn't want him at the club? Christ this is killing me I just want an announcement. Typical Everton fashion we wont hear anything for weeks I bet.
  10. Who knows, it may have been a final attempt before he leaves to invest elsewhere.
  11. The amount of easy passes I see him misplace is incredible. Also, If we're on a break and the balls at his feet I have no faith in him making a killer pass.
  12. He's got the ability, not the brain. Decision making is aweful. Plus his passing is woeful too.
  13. That was when United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool/City were super powers and the rest of the table was almost a lottery.
  14. The season isn't a failure, but isn't a huge success. It's an improvement on last season and we've made Goodison a fortress again. Rome wasn't built in a day. RK has achieved what he wanted and will want to push on next season. Who thougt he'd actually get in front of United, Arsenal, Liverpool, City, Spurs or Chelsea? It's a bloody tough league. The table reflects that we're the best of the rest (by far) and we've set ourselves in good stead to battle next season for a top 6 spot. If we come 6th or higher next season I'll be surprised, not shocked, just surprised. The teams ahead of us are too good and apparently were considerably better than the teams below us. All we can really do is hope for a slip up or two, in order to break into the top 5/6. 4th is a million miles away and will be for the next few seasons.
  15. Lovren is a bit older than Ross so would naturally be offered a little more dosh. As for Zaha they are said to be offering a lot of money! But he's their star player, so they're desperate to keep hold of him. Ross has been offered a new contract, but I'm not sure Koeman rates him that much, so it's more of a take it or leave it offer, with the board reluctant to up the wage. I'll be surprised if a club offer him more than 100k a week, which is over double his current wage. If that's true I don't see his issue, unless there's a greedy agent behind it who's pissed off the board and they're putting their foot down (which they also probably did with the Lukaku contract scenario)
  16. In a way I suppose he has achieved minimum, but you have to give him credit. It's his first season here, he inherited aweful depth in a squad and has done well with what he's got. He attracted Morgan here who no other realistic manager would have, and has made us look like we're capable of winning something. Under Moyes and martinez it just wasn't right, they weren't proper winners. RK has commanded respect and made the players want to be winners. The momentum is set in motion, let's get some players in which Koeman wants, rid of the deadwood and kick on.
  17. Can't see why he'd start on the bench if he scored last time out and was about to be handed a new contract.
  18. 14 points is a huge difference and we have a little momentum now to add to next season.
  19. Statistically one of the best centre half's this season in the premier league. He has his off days but so does everyone. He works hard and reads the game well. He's not flashy, so people underestimate him.
  20. Pair him with a younger quicker upcoming CB. Keane, Mcquire, Gibson. He's a quality player. Just wasn't at the races today and needs someone quick covering him.
  21. Wow Valencia literally has no ability.
  22. Feel sorry for the travelling fans. Long way to go to spend your hard earned money to watch a shit house performance. Already mentally defeated going into this.
