  1. That there are, but how many young English premier league centre halves can you remember going abroad to play?
  2. It's a possibility, but again I don't see CB as a priority at Chelsea (although the squad is that strong I wouldn't know where to suggest needs strengthening!) City will look a lot stronger with VVD and Stones next to each other next season. On top of that he does so well carrying the ball out, something that Pep would like. If we get VVD and a class keeper this summer, I believe we will be challenging top 4 no problem. Possibly another winger too.
  3. Who? I can only realistically see City shelling out for him at the minute. The only other team that needs to spend big on a centre half is Liverpool, which I can't see them throwing 55 million at him. If city aren't interested, I think we have a good chance of signing him.
  4. Yeah I keep checking every hour. Cheers mate.
  5. Arsenal and United are the ones to catch, with the fixture list they have they are both catchable. It'll take a lot of hard work and luck, but let's not write it off yet. Aim high, and you'll always get further than if you settled for mediocrity.
  6. Proper professional and i was present when he scored against us in the cup at gwladys Street, he was applauded and rightly so.
  7. Anyone know when season tickets usually go on sale to Foreverton members?
  8. I know this isn't really relevant, but I always liked Dzeko, thought he was a cracking player and really underrated.
  9. Can't see it myself. There's a big project on here which he knows more about and Arsenal is a sinking ship. Why would he leave for a club that will likely finish 1 place above us, with a lack of financial ambition and when their richest shareholder could potentially switch to Evertons board?
  10. That's it. As long as we stay within 3 and have a better GD (which naturally we should if they drop so many points) it could set up for a very exciting game.
  11. Agreed 21 million in today's market is great value for money. Niasse cost us 15!
  12. Started for the U23s tonight if I'm not wrong. Great to see.
  13. If arsenal lose tonight they are more than catchable
  14. Yeah he managed to run further than anyone else on that field, too. Just under 12km. He works his socks off, but I doubt he will want a rest. He needs to be played.
  15. I want to see them do well, but not win it. Although the odds are massively against them (but so we're the odds for the EPL title!)
  16. It's his composure which impresses me. He is so cool on the ball and uses his strength so well. He's got a few things what can't be taught in his locker.
  17. Slow down guys, we all know that if I bothered my arse to play every week id have ran away with it long ago. ?
  18. Ross needs to start scoring the amount of goals deli alli does and he has to edge it. The only part of his game he can improve in order to surpass him.
  19. Not for me Shukes. I can see little ability in him what so ever. Trying to convince myself it's his age, but I don't think he will cut it at this level.
  20. Doubt that there would have had such on obscure clause in the contract. Surly everyone he has scouted whilst at Leicester would count as a "Leicester target", what would be the point in signing him?
  21. Not sure what to think the line up will look like. My guess would be Pennington to go to CB and Holgate to remained at RB. Id like to see Davies on the bench rather than on the field and Lookman starting. Robles Holgate Pennington Jagielka baines Schneiderlin Barkley Gana Mirallas Lukaku Lookman That's what I think we will see, however he may not want to drop Davies, and/or Kenny could see his first start (Koeman has been great with the youngsters this season). If Mirallas doesn't start then I give up! Can see us sitting back slightly during this game. Leicester could potentially target Holgate or Pennington. If they target Holgate they'll be in for a surprise, Pennington on the other hand looks susceptible to a mistake. Very tough game, probably one of the tougher ones of the season going into this game. We have the ability to comfortably win against them with the fortress that Goodison is this season (back to the way it should be), but if we go out and attack we could get stung. Should be a good game.
  22. Awesome stat. Love the way you've posted this in the Koeman thread and not the Everton one. He's done really well this year.
