Ye good performance. Strong and that header defied physics. Mori was ok but every time he hits a clearance he seems to panicked and slice wildly. Got away with a few today.

I hope not. That's not gonna make a good January if we lose him now.

Ye strange that your neighbor said get in the game when he seemed to be always available and chasing everything. Even got himself an assist.

I was impressed with the fact that we got behind them so much. Getting the ball to the line and pulling it back. How many balls did we see an inch behind an easy finish or just cut out by a defender. Haven't seen that for a long time at Everton.

Only criticism I could have is that he sometimes let his willingness to impress get the better of him. Still one of the best on the pitch though and better than what we have had recently.

Thought Lennon wasn't that bad...as a right back. Didn't offer much going forward.

Don't agree. Consistent would b bang average. But today I thought he was always trying to get a shot in. Didn't score but he must have had three shots that were deflected for corners. Looked very dangerous today and looked like he cared a bit more.

Just the way I saw it but I thought the Leicester match could have gone either way. They seemed to have more of the attacking play and chances....we just scored ours. Against Hull we seemed to have much more tempo and effort but were on the back foot due to their early goal. We could and should have snatched it at the end which would have probably changed a few opinions. I thought we looked much better against Hull but things didn't go our way.

To be fair, we had more chances in the first half than they did and could have easily been ahead. Southampton were pretty poor today. Robles didn't really have much to do. Most of his touches were bobbles that were heading wide and when they did get a decent chance the panicked and hit it over. Pretty much the same as us in the first half. Second half we were much improved and they were never in the game once we scored. Good half time talk from the manager maybe?

Great energy and so nice to see a player turn and run past players ..which he did so many times today. Also a good assist for Lukaku. Can't really ask for more.

Was much better than we played against Leicester Mat.

Was very good today. His hold up play was excellent. And what about that cross field pass eh...eh? And a lovely finish at ththe end. Well done Rom.

Big mentions for Ross and Davies. But I think for an all round performance I have to give it to Baines. Captains performance. Got crosses in when he shouldn't have been allowed. Some great tackles. Running players out to stop attacks. And atepped up at 1-0 to put an excellent pen away. Edit. Oh and what a game from Rom. Held the ball up brilliantly and a deserved goal at the end.

By the way .... Tom Davies IS. Ready for starting. Rom, Rom you beautiful man!

Stamping your style doesn't mean results. Sometimes you see the start of a plan and can accept a transitional period. At the moment we are boring to watch and there doesn't seem much has changed from last year. He still needs time but you can see he is miles away from the top managers so far.

This is what I see. Strong in the tackle. Can take players on. Not afraid to run forward. Not afraid to shoot. Great heart and attitude. Just hope he can get fit and get a chance.
