  1. To be fair I have looked through the comments and at the start Williams seems to have a lot of mentions if not votes. He seems to get credit a lot through the match day threads to.
  2. He heads up scouting Makis, trust me, he has a hand in appointing players to.....I don't think your gonna get this. Unless I spend an hour writing out every little detail of my point you won't understand as you seem to take each sentence as a whole opinion on its own.... Example above! Did I really need to put in a detailed job about walshs job description for you to get it? I don't honk you are a typical, cannot admit to being wrong type of person I'm afraid. You strayed from your original point, rather than just say....wait, you misunderstood that. I meant it as xxxxxxxxx.... I'm just gonna say that your were right and we will leave it there shall we ?
  3. I would go with this too. Really can't think of any others that I would like to keep. Basic, would like to see him get fit and have a run.
  4. Makis makis makis! No I'm not Howe mate, No no no! Your point was that Koeman has nothing to do with transfers. He does. Even you have backtracked in your own argument now. That's fine as you may just have came across wrong. But again...why do I need to look up DOFs? Your making no sense mate. Tell you what I'll make it easy for you.... Just quote the bit where I have said that all they do is scout....it's pretty easy. If I said it then your explanation to me will hold credence....but if I haven't said it... Well then your effort is pretty wasted really. ...I can't do it mate, doesn't but even research it as it's not there, but you already know that don't you ?
  5. Why would I ne d to research a director of football? Your point was that Koeman has nothing to do with transfers! My point by about Walsh was that he would have likely scouted the players to sign. Now if you take that comment as that's all h does then I can't help you. I also know what a manager does as I am one myself. But in Koemans own words....he sits and discusses targets, and once it gets down to wages, fees etc , he walks out the room. If you see that as he has no input then ....again I can't help you! By the way, suttle the way your point is slowly coming into line haha!
  6. Errr he scouts.... pretty much what you said. But do you really think that Koeman doesn't have a vision of what he wants? If that's the case then make Walsh the manager. And I am not blaming him for anyone he didnt sign, just the ones he did and how the team are doing now. After all...isn't that his job?

  8. I think you may have misunderstood his meaning though. I may be wrong, but I understood it as he chooses the players and then doesn't get involved in the dealings. He pretty much said that in the same interview didn't he?
  9. So Koeman has no say in signings? .......rigghhhtt!!!!!!!
  10. This is speaking for itself, it's showing through!
  11. Statsically not as good as Martinez! Most toothless and lacklustre .....boring team I have watched for years! But apparently he is honest and says it like it is!
  12. Problem is that even that isn't happening. Players look at us as a drop down. Young?.....you won't get a chance. Play well? ....you won't get a chance. Smile at the boss?....you are first name on the sheet!
  13. To be fair, you gotta admire his honesty! When he scored he held his fingers up to celebrate.... He said 1 in 5! And nodded!
  14. Seems a few have voted from the stats and not watched the match.
  15. Struggling. I would go with Barry. At least he put a ball in that created an attack and also fouled a few players to stop attacks.
  16. Totally agree. I can't wait to see Everton post Lukaku as I am sure fans will see that personal stats don't make a team. As Everton fans we have become naive, we see it as this..... Lukaku scores 17 goals. Chelsea had costa on 11 and Hazard on 10.....haha what fools they are....none of them scored as much as Rom! I can't understand how the top managers in the world don't rate Lukaku.....but we still believe that he is too good for us? This shows even our fans believe we are small time and this is our issue. Managers come and believe that we are lucky to have them. Players come in and believ we are lucky to have them. It's sad that as fans we have been dragged down to this level.
  17. Pick him or go! A match screaming out for him. Short sighted managers will struggle or see what a player that can hold o to a ball can give to a team. Just like Baines, many won't notice his worst until he plays with the right players.....not better players, the right players.
  18. So would we rather have a player that scores two goals and we lose and by the way are officially worse than Martinez last year! Or Coleman scores and we win one nil? I don't care about his personal stats....again he was outdone by a 15 minuteValencia....sell him!
  19. Valencia.... brilliant. Won the ball, controlled it and held it. Rom.....did not know what to say...you have been shit but have two goals! Maybe you are just an enigma !
  20. Has Valencia just had our first real shot?
  21. Lukaku, Mirralas and McCarthy.... please go, your just not good enough!
  22. Koeman why don't you wait ten minutes to see if anything changes? You know, give the underperformers a chance to get it right......oh look another goal! Wait a bit longer. Fuck this, get Martinez back!
