If Lukaku plays against hills lane United and scores 20 goals but doesn't hit a single league goal all season.... I won't be singing we have a 20 goal a season striker. That's just me.

It is important that your focus is the league though. 1000 goals in the FA cup get you what if you lose the semi final? 20+ goals in the league can get you Europe. I would much rather he score more than Yak in the league and we make Europe. But at the same time, let's see how he is when he has a manager he can trust. How much did Martinez have to do with him wanting to leave?

I am never gping to agree with your opinion, though I do have respect for it Wanting others to love Everton as I do is hardly childish though. If it is then I am without a doubt a child.

But we are fans. And we do want our players to love Everton as much as we do. Not sure what's wrong with that. Yes realism is, that in this era its unlikely for that to happen, but it makes no difference to the way we love our club and expect a level of respect from players who us fans pay our hard earned cash to. I struggle to understand how some fans don't see that.

And lets see if anyone offers 60m for him. I would gladly vault myself if they do. Though I can't see it happening.

The honest mat I think your being a little naive. And I have the utmost respect for you. Numbers mean nothing. Posotion means everything. I go back to Lineker again. 30 top tier goals.....no Trophys. Being a team member that does more than personal stays equals Trophys. Would you rather a striker that wins the golden boot and the team wins nothing. Or a striker that doesn't reach double figures and you win a title? I know having a good goalscorer in a team that defends well can only be a good thing. But how many times have you saw a player score 70% of a teams goals and they win nothing? I have plenty of times.

I do agree too, should be kept between the few. Not sure if this was public or kept to a select few...Hopefully a select few . This has really brought out the worst in our country. I wouldn't say we will become increasingly powerless as while in the EU we have grown into the fifth largest economy on the world. Which is damn impressive for a country of our size. There is nothing to suggest this is going to change by staying in the EU and I cannot guess what will happen if we leave. But having two children under the age of six, I just can't risk it on English ego.

The stay argument seems to be backed up by a few facts though, while the leave party are telling me... I might not be any worse off. Thinking rather selfishly if I am honest. My life has grown over the last five years.

Most of the arguments for leaving seem to be scaremongering rather than factual. But that's just me.

The way o see it the EU is mainly to do with trade etc. We're still in Europe and our passports will still allow us to travel freely in Europe. Or again..that's what I'm told.

We're voting to leave the EU not Europe. Our passports and European passports are only affected by travel. Or so I'm told by my Dutch friend.
