    Never really understood the fitness thing. I remember watchibg mates towards the season and feeling that we were much fitter physically.....just didn't have the desire or heart. Always believed it's an excuse for a top of the game premiership footballer to be able to blame a manager for his fitness. Remember Owen Hargreaves?

    Mustafa isn't that good though. He wouldn't be a first team player for us now. Dier was never ours to let go.

    My biggest regret is that he is going to see our club as the club that ruined him. I hate anyone to view us that way. I wish he could have a quick purple patch that earns him a move away.

    Experience has nothing to do with magic. It's am accumulative of life's experiences. McCarthy can improve as can any player...or should we get rid of Lukaku now he has reached his peak?

    Totally agree. Experience has a massive effect on a midfielder. Barry has got better as the years have gone by. McCarthy could do the same.

    I don't understand all this...he's away on holiday but has still held contract talks with two clubs? Shouldn't we be showing more respect and leaving players alone for just one week while on holiday. Unless we haven't.

    So he's holding out for more money? Or is it that he doesn't like the package being offered and wants to talk to is? If it was just money....then he hasn't even spoke to Napoli as there is no competition. He could be weighing up his options and deciding which club offers the best prospects? But then again he only comes back of holiday today haha.

    I know where Pad is coming from. Our expectation has been big names and so far it's all underwhelming. Thos guy looks like he could he a good addition, but hardly a marquee signing.
