    Who's saying top 4 or 6? Haven't seen that for a while. But I would also like to bet well finish top 8 this year and that things aren't as bad as many are making out. We haven't gained the reputation of a bunch of moaners for nothing, that's what Evertonians do best.

    Am I the only one who is excited by the team above haha? I understand that we don't have depth yet, but our first team is beginning to look pretty tidy. I actually blame last season on play style rather than players.

    Is this why it's gone quiet on Stones? Chelsea have been told a sale depends on us getting a replacement first? Hope not.

    I think he is a smart young talented footballer who realises at his age he needs regular football. But I also believe he wants a career at Everton...so he is willing to sacrifice one season to make that next step towards our first team. But it's just my opinion.

    But he would have left if he spent another season on the bench. He wants to play.

    All depends on your set up. Baines can mark as long as you have a free centre half reading the ball ready to challenge. The man marker is there more to hamper than challenge.

    Based on what I have saw in an Everton top...he looks a lot better than what I read.

    I also think you should start with your staring team...then at half time experiment with different players or systems. But five your starters a chance to gel and learn each others play.

    Stuck at work so can't watch :-( Gonna be checking updates here guys, so would be grateful of you could update any goals etc.... Though you always do to be fair. Got my tickets for Leeds next week though.

    More of a worry for me was "he can play on the left, on the right". Please play him centrally or not at all. By all means try him in number 10. He may surprise us.

    Because even in his player of the year season, it was more his robust, no nonsense tackling more than his ability. Whenever you looked close-by him he didn't look anywhere near our level..for me at least

    Yes I agree to. I really don't see why people argue against this. I know Ross sees himself as a more forward player, but once he settles in that deeper role he could be am absolute force.

    See I am sitting in the middle here. I can see that we're slowly dragging ourselves into a saleable position. Ok were not moving at a good speed but I do feel we are improving as a club.

    Hmm he actually says after speaking with the manager he is going to make himself available again.... Am I missing something? It's almost as bad as Lukaku talking to the press haha.

    Does anyone know when the window closes? I thought there was at least a month to go yet. I would rather the club take care in who they buy and fond the right players and characters for our club. Would hate to see them throw money at a few tabloid names just to appease the fans.
