  1. We're losing the ball far too easy just now. Need to get our heads switched on.
  2. Myko...how much has this lad come on
  3. Give me 29 pass goals Dyche Ball anyday! Progress is constant. I think he'll be here for a while because I think we'll be buying on a shoestring for years to come. We had our big spending chance for years to come. Therefore, if we finish top 6 these days...its a massive achievement.
  4. I can see the frustrations around a certain player, sometimes with subs, and maybe some stubbornness. BUT... What a fuckin job he's doing. And, no, I'm not just saying this now. I said similar things repeatedly over time. He is exactly what we have needed after the last several years. Mostly, I enjoy watching us play. Then I look in disbelief at how little possession we have. Because it rarely feels that way. Let's be honest. The only thing that has stopped us from being 9 - 12 points better off is finishing. You guys have all said the good stuff already so I won't repeat it. The most pleasing thing I'm seeing though is the unity in the team. The way they celebrate together, throw themselves into tackles, clap each other, encourage. With that it's brought a much needed rekindling between fans and the players. This in itself is a massive win. I do agree that there MIGHT be a ceiling as to where he can take us but, in all honesty, with the ownership etc I think he'll take us beyond what we would have thought was realistic a year ago. We will progress with him though.
  5. Just watched a clip on the Everton FB page...I didn't realise the Beto goal was after a succession of 29 passes all over the pitch. That's class Only plays hoof ball Dyche does though
  6. Superb result that We need those goals for confidence more than anything. And buzzing for Beto. Like any player...just needs minutes
  7. Another home game where we've had 20+ shots...and failed to score! We're bossing teams at GP...but our lack of natural finishers is killing us.
  8. Frustrating that one. We did a lot right. More composure around their goal would have changed that game massively. Tough one to take. But we know we're going to have more losses than wins.
  9. Haven't got going this half like we would have expected us to. Unjust score line this. But that's down to us.
  10. It's a fair shout. Not sure if Young was part of a debate between us in the last game? I can't remember...but I tend to get off the forum as soon as I feel I'm getting heated. Not here for that these days . So haven't read your response! BUT...yes. He's looking worse and older each game. I'll still say that Coleman will slot right in ASAP. And I'm not convinced Young was meant to play this much.
  11. I think once Coleman is fit, he's straight into that position.
  12. Bastard. Massive test of character now. We have the character. We need to finish the chances that will come.
  13. We're on it. Just need more finesse in front of goal. We're not blessed with natural finishers! Need more from McNeil and Harrison. I don't think they've been on it for a few games now. But both can still pull it out the pocket. We can get this one back, for sure. GP sounds fab. Must admit I expected to see a lot more 'in your face PL' banners...unless the cameras just aren't showing them.
  14. Such an old man's attempt at a tackle that by Young
  15. How do we go about getting tickets these days? Used to be a piece of piss (albeit not for games like this!) but I can't seem to find a way since last season??? What's changed?! I guess the club changed how it does stuff now?
  16. I think the truth is that if this was a proper legal proceeding in court, it would be thrown out due to how the PL have conducted themselves prior and during. Instead it's been a Kangaroo Court. I'm pretty sure Everton can pick apart plenty in the document that wouldn't stand up in a legal court (but I'm no expert so I could be wide of the mark!)
  17. Because the PL set up an 'independent regulator' without actually having any idea of how they were going to deal with PSR cases. So, it's ended up being a mish mash of bollocks. They've made right tits of themselves and only strengthened the Government's case to step in. The press running over themselves to create these click bait suing headlines. I don't think any of them have grasped what we actually got done for.
  18. Trust ToffeeTalk to go offline at such am important time Anyway, like many of you, I can't remember the last time I had this much fire in my belly for the club. Its proper galvanised me and I only wish it was easy to get tickets!!! Goodison Park is going to be the most hostile stadium in PL history. That fund for banners etc has raised £27k...we know our lot won't hold back. You won't be able to hear the PL anthem. I feel for any PL officials that step foot into Goodison. The PL have revealed themselves as a bunch of incompetent snakes. And the world will see it. We've basically been punished for building a new stadium. That same stadium, which will be phenomenal, will be used by the PL to promote the 'greatness' of the league...we should tell them to fuck off and not use anything of ours to promote theirs (I know that's not how the real world works, but still...) What's worse, is the club has communicated and played inline with several PL demands (wages, transfers etc), and been punished for relevant transparency. Yet the likes of City and Chelsea continue to be evasive... All you guys who go every week...give it to em proper
  19. It is true. Its in the official case documents. It says they chose not to stand in and speak for the club. So the PL easily batted away the clubs claims that every expense etc was agreed...because we didn't have the representation. Absolute disgrace in my opinion.
  20. ...and there was the threat of an Independent Regulator coming into the Premier League. Coincidence? Or muscle flexing to show there's no need for an Independent Regulator?
  21. Couple of interesting points... The club supposedly were only £20mill over the 3 year limit. More interesting, we're supposedly being charged over interest payments on the new stadium. So, basically, if we'd decided not to progress as a club, we'd be OK
  22. Fuckin diabolical. Absolutely farce. How can they turn this round so quickly yet City, Chelsea and the rest crack on?! Anybody with just a smidge of footy knowledge will look at this and know its absolute bullshit. On the playing side. Fuck all yo worry about. These players have shown more character and togetherness than we've seen for years. This'll just light that fire even more.
  23. Yeah, I agree. I'd prefer him to playing. He's the younger option and I think these kids need longer runs. However, most likely Coleman comes back in. For me, he's more reliable ATM than Patterson and/or Young. I don't even think the intention was to play Young as much. But for some reason, Patterson ain't quite edging it. Just my opinion. I could be very wrong...more than open to being wrong. Much more to my existence than being right on ToffeeTalk
  24. So, any player who has had a good game previously is guaranteed to repeat that 6 months later? Like I said, all we can do is assume he would have done better.
